Our second visit there. Wonderful experience to the extent that we are definitely coming back in 2021 for a longer stay. People, weather, sports facilities, food, beach, private pool, all EXCELLENT. Thanks for the booking.😀

I have stayed here many time and always felt good about the experience. I certainly would recommend.

Good location, property is on the beach, rooms are clean, and an easy walk in to the village, have stayed in this area before, i would say this was one of the nicer hotels we have stayed at here

Great location, nice large rooms with semi-private pools, very friendly staff. Only problem was a broken patio door that was a security concern, but it was quickly dealt with the next morning after arrival

This was our first visit to SXM since the devastation of Irma. So saddening to see the devastation but very heartening to see the islanders working hard to reestablish themselves. Esmeralda needs help with landscaping and beautifying the facilities and is obviously still in renovation mode. The staff is friendly and eager to please. Breakfast here was wonderful as always. Best of luck to all as you continue to work on getting this beautiful island back to its former glory.

Its an excellent location resort with friendly staff, but we are upset we were not told not to use water for drinking, etc upon our arrival. The notice about that was face down on the reception desk, they showed it to us only when we asked about why there is no warning anywhere to be found. We saw this displayed at a different resort. This negligence places tourists’ health in danger. There were couples with kids in resort, not sure if they even knew of the problem

This property is ideal for a vacation with extended family. Loved the private pool for each casita. I traveled in August during their low peak season and It was quiet and relaxing, exactly what I needed. I wish they offered a hot breakfast package, but other than that I had a fabulous time.

Adorable little villas feels like a little home, but shared door to the other rooms and noisy neighbors can be heard. All other beaches were nice but theirs a whole lot of seaweeds not easy to get water without them matching on to you.

Orient Beach is the most magnificent beach I have ever played in.It is warm,the waves are playful,the sun is strong, the beach is great to walk on.This property has direct access to this beach.However, the beach bar which would connect the beach to the hotel is under-construction so currently there is no real beach place with chairs,umbrellas,bar,a place to hang out associated with this resort.You have to walk down the beach to another area with beach chairs which you can use for the day with your Esmeralda Pass.I had a car and that was wonderful because I just drove to the beach,through the neighborhood,to the beach access:Bikini Beach.There I could sit for free on the second row of beach chairs and umbrellas.The first row of beach chairs with the unencumbered ocean view cost $20/day.I could also use my Esmeralda resort pass to pay for all drinks and food there.So that was convenient. There are no signs on the island to direct a person to this resort. It is located in Parc d'Orientale: a gated community. It appeared very safe. The breakfast food was disappointing: the site stated "free breakfast". That was a small bowl of fresh fruit and very small croissants.There was a menu so that you could order eggs,etc and pay a la carte.I found the eggs inconsistent so I ate breakfast in the Orient Beach shopping area. The food was exceptional in this shopping area/plaza.Many restaurant choices. "Mr. Rogers" was a front desk manager who was professional and helpful.

Easy access to the beach and felt very secure. Rooms were very clean.
