Great location to walk around Portland

We stayed in Portland to see a show at the arena up the street, and so we picked it based on location. The staff from the valet to the front desk were fantastic and personable. We also really enjoyed the water stations and how accessible they were in addition to being a good sustainable practice. (Yay for less plastics and for not charging so much for water like other places!) The room itself was very clean and cozy. Bed could have been a little firmer, but that’s just our taste…the bed felt brand new still. Lighting was very atmospheric and relaxing. Amenities and toiletries were fine. Tile shower with a rainfall shower head was great, and notably had a lot of headroom so if you are very tall, you shouldn’t have a problem. As someone who is only 5’8, it had a long way to fall before it hit me, haha. Nice stay, even if only for one night!

Amazing stay!!

First time staying at this hotel in Portland. the location was amazing!! The room was very clean and staff super friendly. I also loved how dog friendly the hotel was!! This will be my new go to hotel when visiting Portland.

Perfect stay, great location

I loved the glass water bottles and free water refilling stations on each floor. Comfy pillows and beds. Friendly staff. Get the salty yard latte it’s incredible. The rooftop bar didn’t have a happy hour set up yet and the bikes weren’t available for use yet but you can walk everywhere anyway so it’s okay.

Good location

The stay was fine. Nothing about the hotel really wowed us. The water refill staions were a good idea, but stange that you had to.put your hand between the sensor and the bottle, partially with Covid. Tollieties shoud have bee in glass bottles or in larger containers. 250 Main in Rockpkand does eco friendly better.

The Good & The So-So

A beautiful hotel located in a convenient location, the Canopy Hilton disappoints in only a few ways. When we visited, the mask mandate was in effect but the front desk staff consistently looked the other way. We found hairs from previous guests in our shower. And having a first floor room meant our window curtains stayed shut, giving the room a claustrophobic feel. Still: the location can't be beat, the bed compels instant sleep, and the front desk staff treated us warmly in an otherwise wintry Portland.

Excellent new hotel in Portland

Wonderful hotel! Great location on Commercial Street easily walkable to the shops, restaurants/bars, and waterfront. Room was big, bright, very comfy bed, separate bathroom area, excellent shower, large screen TV, spacious and airy. Luna Bar was so fun and the firepits are great. Restaurant on the main floor was perfect for breakfast - great food, coffee and service. We will be back!
