Stayed much longer than expected

I can't fault this hotel and I think the key thing is the staff team - Every. single. one. of. them. We were 'stuck here' for a very extended stay because of Covid and everyone was very understanding and supportive. You can see the great working vibe everywhere. I congratulate the leaders, as it shows. It's such a busy place. So many people coming and going yet the wheels turned smoothly for us for weeks. We are actually still here and feel well supported and that we are in a very good environment in difficult times. Hopefully we will be able to go home soon but for now we are comfortable and have everything we need close by. I really appreciate our balcony that gives us sun on so many winter days.

May great things about this place.

We had quite a debacle while staying here thanks to covid. My daughter was taken to hospital by ambulance with Covid and complications and I was confined to my room with Covid. The staff were exemplary - compassionate and kind. They made my stay in isolation bearable with a few gentle extra touches of kindness and service. The location is great but look beyond the immediate shopping strip and markets. There's a lot more depth to Fremantle than seen in the first short walks. The hotel is vibrant there's always something going on. The front desk staff are excellent and are easy to find even though they cover a large area. The housekeeping and cleaning staff were fantastic. Very obliging and unobtrusive. Rooms were great. Beds comfortable and the balcony is a bonus. And on a finishing note, I had the seafood linguine a few times as room service and it was delicious. All in all a great experience during a very traumatic time.

Short stay ok

Location was good, no doubt. But housekeeping was mediocre; we bought our own tissue papers for our own use.

Oh hum and disappointing

Oh hum really - we had a room on the top floor (415) which was rather tired. Bathroom in desperate need of renovation, no exhaust ventilation step over / shower over bath with numerous mould stains. Bathroom resembles a steam sauna afterwards as everything was wet including the toilet seat (are you getting my drift ?) Hotel was obviously suffering from skilled quality staff shortages as they were struggling in the bar and lounges. Currently not up to scratch for a 4.5 star rating.

Nice hotel comfy modern rooms clean and great staff Only complaint is that the mattress had no support probably needs replacing.
