The Inn is in a quiet neighborhood walking distance to great small areas of SF. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. It is a true Inn - it has the feeling of being in a house and is very cute. Perfect location and easy street parking. Close to parks for walking and running as well. Very good experience.

The room was really small with the bathroom vanity in the mainroom not near the bathroom. Was challenging getting ready to go out. The walls seemed paper thin and the neighborhood is loud too. Parking was 5 blocks away and i found the neighborhood i had to walk through to get to the hotel a bit sketchy. Wont be back.

We absolutely loved our stay at Grove Inn! Our room was very spacious, bright and clean. The location is ideal for walking to parks, cafes, and restaurants. Absolutely delightful!

We really loved staying here! It was our first time in SF, and this location was very convenient to get to different areas of the city by public transit, a lot of stuff within walking distance as well. The room was clean, the building overall was really charming, and the staff were all so nice. The only negative we had was that our room was below the stairs, and you could easily hear whenever someone walked up or down. Overall we would stay again!

Alamo Square Heaven!

It was wonderful. Clean, charming, friendly staff. The one minute walk to Alamo Square was an incredible bonus. Would definitely stay here again

Centrally located with a bus stop right outside on the corner. There's a luggage elevator, but it's only accessible by staff (you're SOL if arriving late - Thank goodness for my husband because there's no way I could have carried my luggage upstairs). Staff are reachable during business hours - very nice and helpful! Room is small, but comfortable and clean. Although it's supposed to be nonsmoking, you could smell pot in the hallway.

Great communication with after hour check in instructions. Quaint, comfortable and clean. I’ll be thinking twice though about coming back only because there is no on-site parking. It’s very inconvenient and the parking garage they refer to is far away. I got lucky and found street parking but it wasn’t close to the hotel and only found it after circling multiple times.

Very cozy, comfortable place in a great area - one block from Alamo Square Park and centrally located for quick access to all other parts of the city, with MUNI public transit right there for convenience.

The room was nice with comfortable sheets and bedding. The area was quieter than I expected—it felt very much like a neighborhood rather than city. It was easy to find the place and check in and out. My only two extremely minor complaints were about the outlets and shower. It wasn’t easy to find convenient outlets near the beds or enough outlets for how many electronics my husband and I travel with. The shower takes a long time to heat up, and you have to be careful because it’s easy to spill water over the side. Neither of those things was a deal breaker for me, so overall we enjoyed our stay.
