The location and lay out of this hotel is very nice and attractive. Breakfast was good also. The location was real near the interstate and yet in a quiet location. A gas station is on your way out to the road and very convenient. Like any hotel is had minor things that could be attended to. Things like no toilet paper holder in the bathroom in one room we stayed in, or a tile needing re-grouting in another. The pool was also out of service. Not big problems at all. I would definitely stay here again

I stayed at the Comfort Inn East Greenbush because I needed moderately priced accommodations on short notice in the Albany, NY area. On the whole I would say it was adequate and comfortable enough. My biggest objections about this hotel were the toilet seat, which not only didn't look as clean as it should have been, but also looked worn out/discolored. Replace the toilet seat, for heaven's sake! A upholstered bench also had a big stain mark on it. Among the most unappealing sights in a hotel room are stained upholstery! Get rid of it! The carpet also looked like it had seen better days, and the tub looked as if it could use a better cleaning. Chain hotels really should consider replacing carpeting with laminate flooring. Easier to clean and not susceptible to staining. I should also mention that a pet peeve of mine is having signage put on what I hope is clean bedding; why do you have to place a sign about anything on the bed? Especially something that gets handled by everybody, and the last place I want this is on a pillow on which I'm going to place my head! I didn't have the opportunity to try the breakfast, which looked to be a diverse spread, but I did try the regular coffee, and it was not good. So I would say that the Comfort Inn East Greenbush is trying, but must try a little harder, if it was to maintain it's 4 out of 5 rating.

Everything was very nice, but unfortunately our room was near the mechanics room etc, and our sleep was interrupted many times due to the doors closing, people talking and heavy feet on the room above. Needless to say, we slept very well once we got home, both of us were exhausted in the morning due to not sleeping well.

Spa tub out if order. Disappointed, cancelled a reservation at another local motel because comfort Inn stated they had a spa tub only to find out it was under repair and not working. The night clerk sent us to a room not made up and windows open in March, had to go back down and get another room. The bathroom Was very clean and breakfast was good.

Beds left a bit to be desired but I am spoiled with a Temperpedic at home...my kids had a blast at the pool and we also wish they had Movies on Demand... nice hotel GREAT rate!
