Unfriendly staff, it seemed like they were being "put out" to help me. I was unable to sleep due to the loudness of the music and people outside. Beds extremely uncomfortable. I was very disappointed in the whole experience. I had been looking forward to this stay and had heard good things about the area but next time will search for another location.

The hotel is noisy and there is ZERO INSULATION for sound. We stayed in room 103 which is right next to the outdoor patio of the Doug Fir Lounge. The noise outside was actually tolerable but the noise coming from the room above was unacceptable. While staying in a hotel room it is OK to hear a door slam here and there, but to hear a clear conversation at 3 a.m. is NOT acceptable. Even hostels or bed and breakfasts in old homes aren't this noisy. I can't believe how much money this place charges for such below average accommodations. I was really looking forward to staying at this place but needless to say I was very disappointed.

Location and vibe were unique and good. A little loud at times with weekend partiers but that is to be expected. Monogrammed condoms placed on top of the bedside table were over the top. I think most people have their sexuality covered. Just saying.

The valet parking was pretty straightforward; the room (one single queen bed) was alright - however the hardware in the bathroom was not solid (the disk that sits against the wall on the shower head fixture was not just loose but hanging separately from the wall; the shades were alright (those beady pull-down looping string and vinyl) but did not block the light well enough. The light was also coming in through the sweep being a bit loose under the entrance door. Overall, would stay here again.

Loved the location, room and comfort. Our room was so creatively and beautifully decorated. Lots of great amenities. Parking is definitely an inconvenient issue. We were lucky to be there on a Sunday and the Monday of Presidents Day so parking on the street didn’t cost anything. I don’t know if they offer parking vouchers, but it would be worth asking. I would still stay here again.

The art in the rooms were interesting and vibrant! Unfortunately, the front desk staff were impatient and rude.

This is a motel not a hotel. The rooms have indoor/outdoor carpet tiles that are dirty. The furnishings are cheap and worn. But the real problem was the noise. The walls are paper-thin. They had a concert in the basement below our room. The noise from the concert (4 bands) was nothing compared to the noise from crowds that came for the concerts and stayed until 4 am! I should have known something was up when I found two pairs of earplugs on the nightstand!

The hotel is basically party central. If you're looking for peace & quiet move on. It was however conviently close to Revolution Hall for a show we came to see. It was relatively inexpensive, except parking was an additional 32 dollars per day. The neighborhood is dirty. If I were coming up for the same venue I would probably stay in a different area. Overall an ok experience. Condoms & ear plugs on the nightstand should have been a clue.
