We loved that we were able to stay here again. We only wished that we could have enjoyed the spa and hot tub area. Maybe next time! COVID!

Great stay

We have stayed here often in the past. We love this place. The rooms are always clean and the service was great. I think they are doing a great job with Covid-19 restrictions in place. I would stay here again.

Very dirty despite cute hotel

The service was lovely, however, we arrived in a snow storm and when we got to our room... the bath tub was full with someone else’s water from before and the floor was all wet. Not to mention that the heater and wifi didn’t work in our room. The room decor is great and so is the layout it was just a combo of bad events and cleanliness. Oh, and there was a dead cockroach on the ground.

Stay somewhere else!

The room had no fridge,microwave or coffee maker and the bed was hard. The room had no soap for shower or sink.We asked for soap at the office and they didn't have any.They did have a coffee tent that didn't open till after 8 . 1cup of coffee and a chocolate scone was $13. Will not stay here again.

We don’t really want to tell everyone how fun this little motel really is because we’d rather it remain a hidden gem, but we can’t help ourselves! Everything was amazing! Recently redone lobby was Southwest hip, the gathering area in the center courtyard was so fun, the room was large and comfy and the price was right. The wood fired pizza oven in the courtyard was the highlight. Yum!

The room was very nice and clean. It's obvious that a lot of money was spent for designers and renovation BUT 150$ for 1 night is overpricing. Outdoor dool was closed due to covid! Why? What's the point to close outdoor pool due to covid and take the same price as the pool is open. Don't understand. But in a hotel in a neighboring state indoor pool was open. Altogether, the hotel (motel) is nice, but the price for that should be between 70-90$ max

Room okay, ac on the brink and spider in our bed.

I really wish I would have sprung for the larger/nicer room. We stayed here just one night on a couples trip, I was really looking forward to it as this is my first trip to Santa Fe and I have always heard great things about this hotel. The grounds are adorable and as kitschy as I imagined. The staff that I encountered (social distancing) were very nice. But I picked the standard king room thinking the photos were good enough for one night, the hotel.com pics do not match the room we got. There are upgrades but still feel weird. The AC was feast or famine, either freezing or hot as hell all night, there tv wires hanging out of the wall and 4 or 5 bolts on the door to the adjoining room. Not a huge deal, but looks gross and just things I would fix if this were my hotel. But the kicker.. my boyfriend took a shower and got in bed before me, he got up to turn off the light and where had laid down there was a giant dead brown spider... in our bed! He obviously squished it when he laid down...then we had to tear the bed apart to make sure there were no more bed spiders. That combined with the room temp made for an unrestful night. Such a bummer.

El Rey Court is a nice motel, it has super cute furniture and interior design. But for the price, you can stay in a super nice hotel, with more amenities and luxury room. I still like my room and vives of El Rey.
