Conveniently located near grocery store and fast food options. Clean hotel with great customer service - thankful we were able to check-in earlier than the standard time. Breakfast was an added plus!!!

Kids running the business in a un professional way

I was not able to check in until 3:35. I arrived at 2:40. I had to sit in waiting area 55 minutes due to my room was not clean. When I came in and tried checking in, they said to wait till 3:00. The second time I attempted to check in, after I saw another person check in, the clerk was rude and said the other clerk just told you wait and that we would call you up. They did not inform me of why I was not able to check in. The third time I chatted with them they informed me that the room was not clean yet. Why did I have to approach them 3 times to get this information. They should have made me aware the first time. They were rude and in professional. They also were cussing when there were not helping customers and discussing their private party business in a unprofessional manner.

Nice for a long stay

The room was spacious and had a kitchenette. The accommodations were nice but needed attention. The nightstand had several sticky spots, the pillows had heavy cologne scents from the previous guest and the bathroom wallpaper was coming off in some spots but it seemed clean and nice otherwise. A lot of room to have an extended stay.

Exceeded my expectations

I have been traveling all week and staying at a different hotel nearly every night. I didn't want to leave this hotel! The staff were so kind, free dinner, the room was so comfortable and quiet. I will always do my best to get rooms at Homewood while traveling.. was perfect.

The manager of this hotel lies to her guests!

When I book a room with a kitchenette, I expect basic cooking utensils to be able to use it to cook my diner. Not so here, at least not for some of their guests. When I found my room to be short a couple of things, I contacted the desk to let them know what I needed. I was told, however, that they didn't supply those items with their rooms. I explained that I'd stayed at this hotel in the past so I know this not to be true. Their answer to that was "Well we don't supply them in THAT room." (BTW, I was talking to the hotel manger at this point.) When I suggested the possibility of checking a vacant room for those items, she said "it would be a waste of time, because we don't supply them in those rooms either." I could see this conversation wasn't getting anywhere. I'd already bought my groceries so it was either waste the money I'd already spent, or go out a buy an inexpensive pot and strainer, which is what I did ($20). Bottom line, I expect a few things when I stay at a hotel: - First, basic courtesy. - Second, if you advertise a kitchen, supply it with basic cooking utensils so it can be used. - Third, If you're the hotel manager, don't infer to your guests "You don't get to have the same things we supply to our other guests". - Lastly and most importantly, DON'T LIE TO ME!
