It was an overall good experience. The room was clean and the bathroom was spacious. However, the breakfast was pretty basic with not a lot of options. The entire staff barely speaks english which was a bit annoying but we did manage to communicate. The hotel is a bit far from the centre but Berlin has great public transport so it isn't a problem if you don't mind taking the subway. It is about 15min away from touristic areas.

Excellent value, room nothing like photos, very good breakfast I note other feedback stating that the rooms are not like the photos and this was certainly the case for me too. On arrival I almost left because of this but when I took on board how little I had paid and how spotlessly clean everything was I decided to stay. The en suite was tiny and the shower was raised by about 20cm - this made getting in and out difficult particularly as it is situated right next to the toilet bowl - the less agile amongst us would certainly struggle. Again it was spotlessly clean with towels changed daily if required, no shortage of hot water and strong pressure to the shower. The TV is right above the headboard making it impossible to watch in bed, however as there were no English speaking channels I didn’t use it anyway. The room looked generally shabby and could do with redecorating. The bed itself was very comfortable and the linen nice and clean. The inclusive breakfast was superb with a varied, plentiful hot and cold selection - there was even smoked salmon available on the Sunday morning! There is a pleasant terrace accessible from the breakfast room with tables and chairs of you want to eat outside. It is reasonably well situated in a quite grand apartment building with a wood panelled entrance where there is a lift to the hotel reception. It Is on a nice quiet residential street about 10 mins walk from the nearest metro station or about 20 mins walk from the city itself. There

A great stay in a rather quirky hotel for our annual Berlin trip, a lovely area with tree lined streets, interesting bars, good eating and well served transport links. Hotel itself is clean and tidy but could perhaps do with a freshen up, breakfasts are the usual range of continental etc. and the shower was both hot and powerful We had a quad room ( two doubles ) however being three we didn't need the second so folded it away which in turn caused the usual confusion over how many towels got left ...... yes we are a triple and yes it does cause a little confusion at times

We had arrived at a different booking that was awful and had to find something else the same night. So I was grateful that it was clean and we felt safe- but the beds were ok, the food was ok, the lobby was basically a hallway and 2 floors up from the front hall, in the City People were loud outside the windows and the WiFi still wasn’t great... seemed like expensive for what we got- but much better than other place.

If you arrive at the north end of Emser Straße and follow the street numbers to find the hotel, it would be very confusing and frustrating, as the numbers only go higher and higher while you are looking for 19. You must continue to walk south to the intersection of Emser and Düsseldorf Straße, then, voila! Bellevue will appear on the right side. Cons: It shares the building with other private residences. It took us some efforts to get the door open. WiFi is disconnected after a long pause. Each login is limited to one device. Other than the above, we enjoyed a good stay.
