The overall resort is getting tied main pool needs up updating toles missing and getting quite shabby. Staff are all nice just a shame that the virus came to Fiji during our visit no fault of anyone and most.staff got layed off.

Staff are nice, unfortunately the property is pretty ran down and extremely expensive to do anything on the property. It seems like a cash grab at any opportunity. Facilities like tennis and mini golf on the island are an additional cost.

The property is set in beautiful grounds, with a beach front where you can safely swim. The staff are outstanding, the best we have ever come across in many trips to Fiji. The rooms are very tired, and bathrooms dated and old. They need a complete replacement programme in the bathrooms.

The stay was great, staff always attentive to needs. We had to cut short our stay due to the Corona Virus and we were very upset to do this but we know we will back again as soon as possible.

The moment you drive onto the island it is like hitting the reset button. Fiji time kicks in and everything becomes easy. All of your problems drift away. We stayed in the Adults only Reef Wing - all of the staff in this wing deserve a pay rise! They're beyond wonderful. From the front desk staff & the bar/food/pool attendants to the housekeeping staff. We never once had an unpleasant moment with anyone in the reef wing and were always met with smiles. Third time staying at the Shangri-la but first time in the Reef Wing and it was our most enjoyable visit yet. Special mentions to Alena, Jone & Ramisese!! We cannot wait to come back! We spent the first three nights of our trip at another resort but were left wishing we spent the whole 7 at the Shangri-la. If i could rate our stay a 10/5 i would.

Property location was amazing and exceptionally well maintained. Unfortunately, our room didn't seem to be cleaned prior to our arrival. The shower was dirty, no bathroom amenities had been replaced, the fold out couch bed was folded out when it was just the two of us etc. Seemed like they had done a turn down service rather than an actual clean.

Great resort, be ready to walk as its big! Highly recommended

Lovely resort in a beautiful location. Beach front and pool side in paradise, lots of things to do and perfect room for our small family. Having Separate bedroom areas when your travelling with children is a luxury. Quite expensive. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing so many options.

Loved this place so much! Room was great. Staff were amazing! Left today after 5 days and we are already planning our next visit in September. The only thing that we would’ve loved is if the pools and water park ect stayed opened longer.
