Amazing genuine friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful grounds with a lovely tropical feel. Nothing was too much trouble. Butler service was a lovely unexpected bonus. Very relaxing!! Music at the pool was too loud and very repetitive, some quiet hours would be nice.

The staff, the staff, the staff. This place is more friendly then Disney. Additionally the grounds, gardens and palms are just beautiful. This is a very comfortable place to stay and enjoy.

The staff are all wearing a mask but the guests don’t wear a mask though. You have to do a rapid test only 72 hours after check in. So within this 72 hours a lot can happen! You pay $275 for a PCR test at the hotel and you are supposed to get the results by email but in fact, you need to collect your results at the airport. If you fly at 8am in the morning, you are stressing out! The beach at the property is terrible. The hotel is next to a river so if it rains the water is brown and not clear. You cannot see anything in the water. The hotel is not eco friendly, plastic straws, plastic bottles of water and no recycling. The staff are friendly but you need to ask multiple times to have the right order or to get what you need. You also need to be patient when you order or need something. The service is quite slow. The food is very expensive and very basic, burgers, pizzas, fries, sandwich. There is no Fijian food, no fruits and no salad. Check the restaurants next to the restaurant for good and cheap quality food. The adult pool is great. The activities are good. The hotel is far from the airport, 1hour 30 mn and there is no much things to do or see around the hotel.

The good- -Lovely gardens and the resort looked nice -Good room ,toiletries and bedding (although almost no soundproofing from bathroom so only suited to established couples) -Mostly good food -Most staff very friendly (the general store was a notable exception) -We particularly enjoyed breakfast and lunch at adult pool Not so good- -The heavily promoted Ivi restaurant was closed without warning -Our room was cigarette smoked out every evening because neighbours were allowed to smoke on balconies -A nearby restaurant had the same quality meals for twenty something dollars that the Outrigger was charging 60 something for per course -Covid was just not being taken seriously. NO guest was wearing a mask (we could have at least been asked to put one on in reception and shops - I wouldn't have minded). No service staff were washing or disinfecting hands between guests. -Covid testing was amateur hour. The service desk was chaotic. We were never notified about our quick test results. When it came to the PCR- our passport numbers were wrong, our dates of birth were wrong, my gender was wrong, ands we didnt sort it until 9.30 PM when we were being picked up to leave at 4.30 AM which ruined the holiday with stress.(Staff didn't appreciate the urgency) -Not a lot to do there -I never saw more than 2 people on the whole beach ( and I never saw anyone snorkeling, so I didn't bother either) -Disruptive ball games were allowed in the adult pool -Not enough chairs around pools (chair "res

I rate this property highly mainly for the amazing atmosphere that the staff create. It felt like they really wanted you there and nothing was a chore. The pool great for kids, the grounds easy to navigate with them and the rooms well laid out. The property itself needs some updating/maintenance but one month after borders reopening, I can understand this not being a priority. Dining on the other hand was a problem. There needs to be some minor and major tweaks that would improve the situation. One particular issue is not having anything other and an expensive buffet for our small kids. Not only that, sometimes you don’t want a buffet! It’s been 2 years since we’ve travelled like this and never been to a resort with the kids so all in all a good experience bar the dining.
