I didn’t realize they had construction going on but it wasn’t a problem especially with other things I was forced to deal with. People or maybe kids running down the 3rd who banged on my door. I called the front desk expressing concern was told I would get a call back - never did. Drinking glass provided by the Hotel which was in one of the cabinets in the room was chipped at the top drinking area no concern shown. Maybe TMI but I needed and called the front desk requesting a tiolet plunger. No call back as promised quick action to help me would take place. Somehow I waited about an hour to call the front desk back to hear the hotel doesn’t have a toilet plunger and was trying to figure out a solution. I said Walmart was close by. This is pathetic customer focused employees which is a direct reflection on the local management! One positive which was the very customer focused, smiled from the beginning and her name is Chris. Keep her and pls show appreciation from my Feedback. I’m not sure if her name starts w a K or C BUT I remembered her name, nobody else’s. Oh breakfast was 2 or so hotels away, really?

Day one. When we arrived our room was not ready. It was over an hour past the promised time before we could get into our room. Almost an hour after we arrived we were offered a downgraded room with no mention of a downgraded rate. (if they could clean that room, why not clean a room that is reserved. There was another couple that went through the same hassle that we faced. Day two. We went out and came back to find that our room was not cleaned or even the bed made up. They did however, replace the towels. Day three. We went out and returned to find that our keys had been deactivated. The strange thing was that we had stayed at this same Homewood Suites only six weeks earlier and commented that it was one of the best hotel experiences that we could remember. e were told that management and almost the whole staff had changed over that time. If this is what the new team is bringing to the table, next visit we will stay elsewhere.

We enjoyed our stay there very much. The staff was very friendly and helpful and our room was perfect!! And we were very thankful for the great breakfast the next morning!! Thank you so much
