We had some complications at check in regarding the positioning of our room and not organising some requests, which was a result of emails not being received or acknowledged. Unfortunately we also had an issue with lighting in our room the evening we arrived which was quite late in the day. However Samuel immediately intervened and between him and his team remedied the situation by securing us with a new room which was absolutely perfect for our family. The attention to detail by the whole team at the Constance was exceptional and they made for a very memorable stay. A special thanks to Sharma and team for their extremely warming hospitality. One slight blip was that we were never informed of timings regarding required Covid PCR tests which meant we missed the practitioner visit in the morning and had to travel to a clinic in Flacq later that day. All in all we are grateful to the team at The Constance for a memorable stay. It's a beautiful resort in a stunning setting and we cannot wait to return.

We go on many holidays a year however this is by far the best hotel service we have ever received. They did so much for us. A little goes a long way. Even the manager came and spoke to everyone individually during dinner - where else do you get that?! Every single member of staff, gave the best service ! They gave us a cake for our anniversary. Towels were made into swans. Bottle of wine. Hellos and thank yous, always asking if there was anything else we can do and they all knew our names. The staff was absolutely wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely be booking with Constance in the future. Thank you so much for the perfect stay at your beautiful resort Mr an Mrs Mahal

Very nice resort with a magnificent beach. The best thing in the hotel is the service you get from the stuff, which are super friendly and helpful. The resort is very well maintained and there are 4 swimming pools! Breakfast is very good. The only problem I had with the hotel is the prices in the restaurants which are outrageously overpriced. I couldn’t think to pay such amounts for food so every evening we went out to eat.. but overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

Everything is just beautiful! The reception with open glass doors and the view of the resort and sea is stunning. The walk to through palm trees to the suits/villas is the most pleasant walk. The variety of restaurants and the quality is exceptional which each of them having a point of difference.

They went all out to make our stay as agreeable as possible. Kudos to Samuel and his team. Excellent food and the early check-in was especially appreciated. A property and service worthy of the name.

Great place beautiful gardens and nice beach. Good golf courses arround. but 2 star service They just trick the guests all over the place (from room choice to dinner bookings ) Find a better place

Constance Belle Mare has always been renowned on the island for excellent. Property and views are great. On the negative side, most of the reception staff are not warm and not welcoming. I had a number of issues (a) they were unable to locate the second room i booked and kept asking me to double check (at least 3 times) if I had booked 2 rooms - stressful check in (b) in advance of check in, I had emailed and informed the Constance Head office team with full details of who has walking disability etc and needed ground floor rooms and also requested our 2 rooms to be booked close by. None of these matters were taken and even mentioned. They mixed up the names. (C) I wasn’t given an account of how the 2 Expedia vouchers were applied on check out. On check out, I had explicitly asked the receptionist to confirm if I can use £15 per room, so £30 for 2 rooms. We had only used Rs190 for 2 bottles of water. Yet, we had a bill of almost £24. Reception team was uncooperative to resolve how I can apply the 2 £15 vouchers to ensure it’s fully utilised. On plus side, housekeeping lady Reshma was very nice and helpful. Please can Expedia look into how the Voucher which I believe has been applied against only Rs190 for 2 water bottles. I request a refund to my Expedia account for not being able to use the vouchers as an Expedia Gold member. Thank you for looking into the above Deeya
