ريو يوكاتان أول إنكلوسف

Our reservations got switched to the property next door (Rui palace Mexico) upon arrival. We had no idea Riu Yucatán was undergoing renovations. Service was excellent at Rui palace. Our room was great. We were disappointed in the food. There was some foods that were undercooked. Our second day we got a little sick from our stomachs after eating at the Mexican restaurant. I ordered fish and shrimp tacos. Maybe those weren’t cooked through. My husband was sick for the rest of our stay to the point he couldn’t eat much without feeling sick from his stomach. The drinks were OK not really strong unless we were having tequila shots. Aside from that, the property was beautiful and all the staff very nice and attentive. Just wish the food would’ve been better quality. Both at the restaurants and Buffett for dinner/lunch and breakfast.

I liked everything,. The personal,the food, really a clean place.

Everything was good. We spent excellent time. Beach cleaned every day.

The rooms are slightly dated. The bathroom needs more privacy.

The property is 1hour and 10 minutes from Cancun airport

Everything was wonderful at Riu Yucatan. The food was delicious , the drinks too ! The shows were wonderful . The Staff was very friendly and nice. Loved my room!! The beach is beautiful ! Check out with Freddy was perfect !!

Rooms are stinks, staff is very rude, harassment is normal for them, and the pressure was so hard that I HAVE TO CHANGE RESORT for my own expenses

Was pleased with the property and the staff. Liked that we can use the other riu resorts and safe enough to go outside of resort. Liked the walking distance to a small shopping center. What I didn’t like was for me the choices of food, the quality could’ve been better, also I had 2 small issues, my safe & WiFi in my room stopped working on my 2nd day in... I report it to 3 different front desk staffers and at first they looked confused and then their response was we will have a tech look into it... and they never fixed.

Likes: Beautiful beach, nice pool area, lovely, palm tree shaded grounds with agoutis, coatimundis, lizards, monkeys and birds. Rooms were white. Food fairly good! Dislikes: unattractive purple and silver lobby area and lots of cold-blue fluorescent lighting throughout the property but especially in the outdoor dining areas. That kind of light was depressing. Need to switch to warm color lights. Coffee was terrible! :(
