Bug bites

My husband woke up covered in bug bites. He had nothing on his back when he went to bed and woke up itching and uncomfortable.

Ok hotel but beware

The hotel was OK but the room was very dirty. We had dog hair and dog food on our floor when we walked in. We also had a folded towel in the bathroom that had what looked and smelled like human feces on it.

Convenient Hotel

The hotel is nice and smelled great. It was conveniently located to restaurants and lake. The pillows left some space to be desired. Stayed four nights and didn’t see staff service our room. So, a bit disappointed there.

So so

Our experience the 3rd weekend in May was just so so. We did get in late and the night auditor was friendly and accommodating to our needs. We booked with a King suite plus fold out couch however when we arrived all of those rooms were filled only one King suite remained and it did not have the couch but they were able to bring a roll away bed. One of biggest issues was the cleanliness. In the bathroom although at a glance it appeared clean there was dirty grout and edges all around the shower and floor tile. The roll away bed had crumbs and hair on it. We also needed a playpen and it was very disgusting. The sides and bottom pad was full of stains that had not been cleaned since other times used. Due to the time we arrived and also a fire alarm going off at 2am we did not complain about these things and made the best of it. Also the King mattress on the bed was very very uncomfortable, hard and you could feel the springs, the beds being upgraded should be a priority. For the amount it cost to stay at over $250 a night I wouldn’t expect that low of standards. Liked the location, pool, free wifi and breakfast. The morning front desk person was very unpleasant. If we come back to the area this would probably not be our first choice.
