The young woman at the front desk was especially cordial and helpful to accommodate my needs at check in. She went the extra mile to put a roll away cot in the room after technical difficulties with the booking app.

We absolutely love the Stowehof and stay here every time we are in Stowe. Friendly and helpful staff, cozy rooms, funky decor, beautiful views of the mountains. The list goes on and on!

The hotel is located in a hill. The road in front of the hotel is covered in mud. The hotel is an old wood structure. It is very old, with no recent renovation. The noise insulation is poor, you can hear other people talking. The hotel front desk is not always present. I had a hard time finding parking in the evening. The hotel room was aged, a lot of dirt mark on the wall, the bath tub is really bad and unclean. The nice thing is they have coeffe and hot water at the lobby all the time. Overall, the stay was just so so, I won't come back again.

This place is amazing! Super cozy and relaxed vibe. Everyone was so nice and the food is amazing! No need to go anywhere, bar, restaurant, lounge, fire places everywhere, and nice staff!

The pool, hot tub and sauna were closed so no amenities like we thought. The photography makes this property look much, much better than it actually is. The wallpaper was coming off. The ceiling was molded in the bathroom. It is very run down and definitely needs to be updated! The common room is nice and decor is cute. Overall, disappointed.

My fiance and I had a great stay at the Stowehof while we were up visiting friends and skiing at Stowe. We really enjoyed the lobby area (free coffe/tea, multiple fireplaces and areas to lounge or grab a drink). We had the buffet breakfast one morning which had a lovely view of the mountains. The only thing we didn't like was that the hot tub and pool weren't open when we were there, but we did enjoy the sauna. Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel to others.

Room was small but very nice. Lighting in bathroom was really good. Food in restaurant was surprisingly excellent. Nice balcony and views of the mountain.
