We had a great stay at La Veranda over the Christmas holiday. The facility is top notch and the beach is beautiful. Most of all the staff, everyone from management, to reception, to F&B, to housekeeping, to grounds and security was friendly, proficient, and genuinely focused on making our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

Good Place To Relax

Nice and quiet resort with a lot of trees and plants. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Very short walk to the beach and swim there where the water is clean and calm. My room is a bit small with a queen size bed otherwise everything is perfect. The bed is comfortable and the balcony size is good. Just a short ride to the night market, my favorite sea food restaurant Xin Chao and the airport. You can walk easily to the King Kong supermarket to buy snacks and drinks. Buffet breakfast is good with many varieties and sitting area is very comfortable . The TV channels are ok but not the best and I wish the TV screen can be larger. I was there on Christmas eve and I received a little gift from the hotel. That is very nice.

A rating re-confirmed

Despite poring rain, we had a great get-away weekend as the overall service and quality of dishes was outstanding. The rooms are obviously a highlight and the colonial setup a gem. We had however some issues with a faulty old airco but the resort provided the possibility for an upgrade to a villa. Overall, we can highly recommend this place as being very convenient and of high standards

The resort is beautifully decorated, best location to the sea dan the staffs are so helpful. They go to extra length to accomodate guess satisfaction. They upgraded our room free charge. Best services, complimentary airport transport both ways, complimentary transport to Sao Beach and amazing Welcome Drink. I definitely would like to come back again. One more thing, they have the best Gourment restaurant for dinner.

Lovely hotel.

Superb hotel, staff great AOM on front desk provided great service with flight disruption. Spa excellent, Mr Trung yoga classes and spa treatments were perfect. Food in the hotel was very good with local restaurants if you want to eat out.

Paradise

Truly a spectacular stay — the hotel staff were all wonderful, the beach + pool are lovely, the food is great, the rooms are airy and light and very comfortable, the spa was lovely, I could go on and on. Highly recommend, couldn't find a single fault with the place and absolutely will be coming back.

French colonial fusion of delight

I felt like I’d been transported back in time to a gentler world cushioned by good manners, respect and an eye for detail. From the complimentary drinks upon arrival and departure, a lemon sorbet by the pool to an evening chocolate delivered with a smile.

Staff and reception was very good. Thao and Lai were amazing and deserve the best for all of their hard work. Complimentary airport pickup was nice. Food at the resort was good. Service from Thuan and Ngan was phenomenal, as well as another individual who I forget his name. Bar and beach service was also good. One thing about it that we didn't like was the rough brick/rock pavement. It was very uneven, making walking and transferring luggage tough at times.

This is probably the best hotel my family and I have ever stayed in. The staff made us feel at home right from our check in. The beach area was for hotel guests only and that limited the number of people and generated a relaxing atmosphere, unlike the hotels either side. Everything my wife and I wanted in a relaxing holiday was at our fingertips. The rooms were well decorated and clean and secluded from other rooms by the wonderfully gardens. The managers were always walking around to make sure guests were happy and all their needs were catered for. The food and restaurants were marvellous although a bit pricey, but I suppose that is worth paying for the quality. The only improvement my sons would suggest is to replace the gym equipment as it was not working. Shops are within walking distance but as you would suspect the main shopping street is very busy at night.
