Currently there are still a number of restrictions in place in hotel due reduce risks of coronavirus. My view is this has to be a personal/organisational decision so comments are just to inform potential guests. The bars and restaurants are closed and staffing is minimal. At present they seem to be trialling opening up the restaurant at weekends outside. There is no room service. Measures are in place around cleaning which is reassuring but hotel seems quite expensive compared to other local hotels when you consider what is being offered as basically paying for a room at present.

Daphne at the front desk was fabulous, courteous and a great representative. Maarten checked us out and was equally amicable. The location is great. Right where you want to be to explore. Parking is high but unfortunately expected in Ghent.

We arrived 5 hours prior to check in and they allowed us to get a room early at no extra cost. Our room was always clean and the staff helped us book a restaurant reservation. They were also available to check us out before 6am due to the coronavirus and refunded us for leaving early. Hotel is at a great location for sightseeing. Right across is the canal and key locations at a walking distance. Lots of restaurants too.

Great hotel in central Ghent Good staff and a wondertul atrium

The hotel is in a great location, close to most of the main attractions in Ghent and walking distance to all the churches, castle and great restaurants. We slept really well in the hotel and the breakfast was great.

We upgraded to a canal view room. Worth every penny the view is lovely. Everything was just great. Room service dinner one night was out of some food, but that should be your biggest problem. he hotel is right in the center of everything and perfect for a short or longer stay. Their restaurant had a price fixed meal on Valentine’s Day which was excellent. Breakfast was nice. Not the greatest but certainly quite good.

Excellent and outstanding hotel. It is our third time and we'll gladly return to. Staff highly assistant, central location and amazing environment.

You can’t beat the location in the center of everything. The building is historic, but the hotel interiors are all modern, and very tastefully done. The rate included breakfast, which was adequate but not great.

Spacious rooms in a beautiful, new hotel. Great fitness center. Located right on the river and it is a very short walking distance from everything you would want to do or see.
