Wonderful location with views over the Adriatic, the rooms are quite a bit on the small side for a supposedly 5 star hotel. Also the food is more 4 star than 5, not to speak of the crowded dining rooms, but overall we had a great time.

Lovely hotel with great views from the rooms. The atmosphere in the evenings would be much better if there was a pianist or other musician playing. The large, excellent reception and bar areas were virtually deserted every evening.

We stayed in Piran for two nights and would highly recommend the town. When we arrived at the hotel, check in was slow as there was only one agent and he was dealing with a problem with another guest, so we waited. Once we were given our room, it was quite run down and hot, so we turned on the a/c and went to wander. When we returned, the room was still hot. Eventually, they found out the a/c was broken and moved us to a nicer room with a/c. I was glad they upgraded us for the trouble. Also, the bathrooms were very clean and comfortable in both rooms. Every balcony has a sea view, which we enjoyed. Steps away from the hotel are chairs for sunning and stairs into the sea for swimming. Breakfast buffet had a sizable number of options. The hotel is a reasonable walk into Piran with a couple of very good local restaurants within a few minutes walk on the esplanade--Veduta Bernadin to the left and Pri Polonci to the right. There is also a free shuttle that runs from the Fornace parking lot across from Pri Polonci to Piran and back approximately every 15 minutes. Of the three 5-star hotels we visited on this trip, this hotel was our least favorite.

Nice hotel, clean and has everything you need. Buffet food could be improved in that pasta and other hot food often was only warm, not hot, so tasted average. Good breakfast buffet. Quiet, great balconies overlooking the sea. Lovely bar outside on the 11th floor.

the food in the restaurant was awful, hard cold vegetables and poor choice - very disappointing. We had to eat out, although we had paid for HB, as could not face the poor food (worst Ive ever known in the Adriatic). Reception staff were VERY rude and NOT friendly at all - when we checked out they did not even ask if we had a nice stay. They tried to charge us extra for a registration fee which I refused to pay - terrible. WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN & WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

What an amazing hotel and experience! From check in to check out it was a real treat. Hotel staff was very accommodating and professional. Breakfast was amazing! Champagne is always a welcome morning treat.

A very comfortable room. Excellent air condition.Rich breakfast. I enjoyed my stay.Been there for a week. I liked the live music every night!!! Food in the bar needs to improve

Great hotel, perfect location, no sand, loved swimming in the Adriatic with very easy access in and out of the sea, nice promenade walk to Piran with loads of restaurants
