The parking lot was small had to park around the back of the hotel. The room was not clean, some of the towels were dirty, and the pool was shut down.

Dirty

Dirty hotel, half thr lights in our room didn't work and was told after checking in that the pool was under renovation. We had 3 kids with us that wanted to swim and that's why we booked this hotel.

Great

We were only there for one night. The hotel was nice and clean - but the room was very dark. More lighting in the living room would be nice.

Good luck finding a parking spot

Nice and close to the mall, no complaints on the room itself or the help, but beware, there is not enough parking to support the number of rooms available. The first night we got there, the only space available was disability parking (we were told to park there), second night we were told that the overflow was in the neighboring business parking lot (which has clear signs that state violators would be towed - the parking lot was NOT for hotel guests), and the final night, we got there just in time to get the final empty spot. Never knew from one day to the next whether our car was going to be towed.

Unpleasant experience for one evening

Our young family was not able to enjoy our stay at all. We initially booked our night for two queens since we have two children. The guy at the front desk mentioned we would get an 'upgrade' to a bigger room with king-size bed and a pull out bed due to our room being 're-sold' or 'sold-out.' When we got to our room, there were multiple buttons to turn on the lights. Turns out the room we got was an accessible room. We were scared to touch anything. The bathroom looked like a hospital bathroom. Everything 'looked' clean...but no, we could not be comfortable or feel relaxed at all the entire night. In fact, we barely slept the entire night. The front desk guy failed to mention this would be an accessible. He could have mention this and offer to book another hotel room elsewhere. There were only two towels and two hand towels. They all smelled bad. The toilet was really odd, it was really steep/deep. We totally understand this room was meant to accommodate those with disabilities/the handicapped. But it was not meant for our family of four. One of us used to work in the industry for a medical supply company, which serviced incontinence products. No...just no. In the past, we usually stay here from time to time whenever we are visiting the Twin Cities. Our typical place where we would go to was booked out, so we went with this place that night. It was a mistake to stay here. We had a horrible experience and we do not plan to ever book another night here ever again.

This location is very convenient to get to the airport or to Mall of America. Hazelwood and Jimmy Johns are both close by for a close option for dinner. Plus, it was very affordable.
