Stayed five nights here. We had a superior room and were very excited when we saw the room and view. The room was large and bright. Sliding door window covered the entire wall that looks out over the ocean/bay. A large grassy, outdoor sitting area with spectacular views was connected to the room. Besides the ocean view, the wildlife was also great. We saw white-face monkeys walking along the fence outside our window. We saw lots of birds, including many beautiful macaws flying in the near distance. It was helpful to have binoculars. Staff was also great. There were some downsides to our stay here as well: (1) Water in our room quit running at a moments notice - about 8 times during our 5 days here, and twice while we were in the shower. Very inconvenient, even though it came back on within 5-7 minutes. (2) The pool and immediate pool area are very old and run down. Several lounge chairs were broken or uncomfortable due to sagging material. There were several other sitting areas near, but not at the pool, that were nice with great views. (3) Car parking is extremely limited and tight. There are only nine spaces for 26 rooms. The driveway is very steep with no room to turn around if the parking is full. We had to back down the steep driveway several times and park on the narrow road outside the hotel. All of this said, the room and view were so incredible that, overall, we were happy with our stay here.

The views from the rooftop pool are absolutely incredible! Hotel has a nice, vintage appeal, and the rooms are spacious and well maintained for the price. Location is walkable or a short taxi ride to local shops and places to dine. However, it was a bit disappointing that neither the Wine Cellar or Cave bar appeared to be available to peruse. Also, I had booked and messaged the hotel early on to grant and confirm with us two rooms with two double beds, and we were given two rooms with king beds, with no advance notice of the change. Though the staff were kind & friendly, there was room for improvement on their customer service/communication (We spoke Spanish, so it wasn't due to a language barrier). One of our rooms had to be relocated due to the AC blown out, and we requested to have the original room fixed so my guests could move back so that we could remain adjacent, but there was never a follow up, despite telling us that they'd let us know when it was clear to move back into, so they just stayed in the room. Also, there was some back and forth on the actual cost of the shuttle service, in which we had to remind upon check out that we still needed to pay, and then tried to charge us more than what was quoted through messaging with them in advance; and we had to provide screenshots to prove that we were quoted a lesser charge. Overall, I would still certainly choose to stay there again, while being mindful of the laxed work environment of the staff.

Liked overall. Beautiful view. Large suite. Great staff: friendly and helpful (thanks Brian). Good location if you want to go to Manuel Antonio’s Parque. But consider: If going bit tough to get to curves and narrow roads being the norm in CR. Only 8 parking spots for 25 rooms. getting to, into and out of those spots can be extremely challenging as facility is on steep site with narrow one lane drive in and out. We upgraded to a suite and there were about 50 steps up and Down to get to our room (no elevator). Could not get TV to work and shower (no pressure or hot water) was terrible. We did not bother staff about for our own personal reasons. Coffee machine in room was terrible We would stay there again—great location—just offering things to consider

The view from the pool deck was outstanding. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The resort was small so it was not overwhelming. Although a bit of a hike, we could walk to the beach.

We had a great stay at Oceans Two! All of the staff was extremely kind and looking to help. The pool area was very low key and relaxed. The drinks were very good. I was a little disappointed that the cave bar was closed. We had some issues with our air conditioning but it was addressed immediately after we reported it. The rooms were extremely comfortable and I had some of the best sleep of my life. Breakfast was fine but we didn’t eat dinner at the hotel (restaurants nearby are absolutely delicious and highly suggest Samui and milagros). Overall it was a great time!

Staff was great, big shoutout to Roy and Bryan for all the amazing drinks and top notch service. The best bartenders around. The area and view from the room was beautiful. I would absolutely recommend Oceans 2 especially since it’s a much cooler resort than some of the others down the street. We had a great time here. This was a small thing but maybe worth noting; unfortunately we had a problem with our AC leaking quite a bit of water. They fixed it while we were out exploring but left it off so we came back to a very hot/humid room that took a long time to cool off.

I was unable to use the business space to conduct my calls. The hotel needs some upgrades. Wires hanging, old towels and bath setting. I also did not get the meal discount that was mentioned.
