Comfortable and convenient location

Very comfortable suite at a good price. Very quiet in the room however the conferences being held were noisy and the bar/bistro so busy and also noisy in the evening we had to eat elsewhere. The location of the hotel is so convenient we would probably stay again.

A great discovery

What a treat to stay at the Hotel Realm, large comfortable rooms with every amenity. Great service from the restaurant staff in the hotel, who were cheerful and obliging. A extra bonus was the proximity to good restaurants like Chairman & Yip and LiloTang. The one minus was the quality of the french meal in the hotel's Buvette restaurant which was below par.

Comfortable mattress

I have been wanting to stay here for a long time so my 40th seemed like a suitable occasion. Pro's for us were the SUPER comfy mattress resulting in the best sleep I have had in months, free parking and the reception area was lovely. Cons- the room was super dusty a grubby with a large spider web leaving it feeling like it hasnt been attended to in a while, only 1 robe in our room, the heating stuck on 23C all night without being able to adjust it and the extension 9 number we were given on check in just rang out on the many occasions we tried to call to sort the heating and find some ice. It was an ok stay, just not the 5 star experience we had hoped for.

Nice stay

Lovely reception. Great room. Nice toiletries. Comfy bed. Room servicing was a bit funny. We were out all morning (9-1) with our 'service room' indicator on, but nothing was done until 3ish.

Standards have slipped

Tbh a little disappointed as I have stayed there before and wanted my partner to experience pure luxury. We ordered room service and it arrived in paper cups not China. We had 3 towels in our room no washer. After we went out at 10.30am and arrived home 5 hours later the room was still not made up and we were having guests visit. After reporting this an hour later room attendant arrived by that time we had guests and asked for the items to be left outside the room. Items were left off to replenish mini bar. We ordered cocktails downstairs and were surprised that also had a limited range to choose from and no knowledge by staff on how to make regular named cocktails. Even more surprised that a staff member stuck a straw in the drink we asked her to make to have a taste and then said “that’s ok” and continued to pour our drink from what she tasted! I feel sad that standards had fallen from when I stayed at the property and my partner did not have the same experience as I did.
