We had a wonderful experience. The bathroom was so nice with a spacious shower...wonderful! The room had a balcony overlooking an adorable courtyard. The breakfast and service at breakfast was great!

Only stayed one night in Florence and wanted something close to the Duomo. This room is indeed close to the famous cathedral but not worth the money. A/C was a joke, it was on full blast but the room easily had 20 foot ceilings, so that 1980's unit did nothing to help. We asked the front desk for a fan and they couldn't provide one. Shower was covered in mold and the floors had a layer of dirt on them. They did have a buffet breakfast available with eggs, coffee and an assortment of pastries served on a lower level of the building which also had mold in every corner. The room we had was called The Urano. If you do book this awful place, request a different room and you chance having a better experience.

Wonderful staff, allowed us to check in early rather than just leave luggage. Breakfast was fabulous ... full selection of fruit, yogurts, rolls, meats, cheeses and eggs. Best cappuccino ever. Attention to details and pride evident. Room comfortable clean and welcoming. Roomy for three of us. Close to la duomo, walking distance from everywhere. Would stay here again without a second thought.

Our stay at Palazzo Galleti was OK overall. The initial experience was a bit surprising, but after the shock we settled in. The room was large, breakfast was simple, only toast and juice, coffee and tea. We didn’t know that buffet was not served during the winter months. When the tenets upstairs were walking, there was sand and paint that fell from the cieling into the bed and pillow. The floor was never washed.

The room was very beautiful and spacious. However, the mattress was uncomfortable and the bathroom smelt faintly of drains.
