Stayed in a family chalet. Out dated but comfortable. Was advertised with free WiFi. We could barely get T.V reception, let alone WIFI. It didn't effect our stay, but don't advertise if it's not on offer. The grounds are in need of a make over. Do not walk on the grass in bare feet. It is full of prickles.The 4 children enjoyed all the activities on offer.

Good for kids. Definitely needs a clean and to be updated/renovated.

Had an enjoyable stay. Rooms are in need of some maintenance. Paint, furnishings . The condition of rooms are definitely not there in value . Beautiful meal. Golf course has plenty of wildlife fertilizer, once again over priced to conditions of course.

Handy to the places we wanted to visit in the Tamar valley region and nice that they have a pool. The room we were in was in bad shape. Ceiling fan did not work, door had a gap at top to the outside, could see through gaps in door panels, bathroom very tight with tiny sink, tap leaking at kitchen sink, nowhere to hang towels which are only replaced weekly. Other people apparently had vouchers for breakfast, we asked about this but no answer. Sorry not for us in future.

Great place to stay with everything contained in its own little village, however it is in need of some updating

Child friendly activities and a very good restaurant for dinner.

Check in took ages, also told us to clean dishes :( 5/10

Great for kids Boating Golf Swimming Pool Good Breakfast close to Launceston.

The village is quiet lovely though our room seemed quiet dated. Had trouble getting around the toilet door as there wasn’t much room to let you close the door due to the tiny room allocated for the toilet. The bedrooms are a good size with plenty of wardrobe space if you need it. The mattress though was like sleeping on a concrete slab and my husband and I both had sore and stiff backs the following morning. Bathroom is tidy and large (why not put a toilet in there...) but could do with modernising. A heat light would be good to put in, especially on a cold winters morning it was very cold getting out of the shower. Dinner was nice from the restaurant. None of the meals came with salad like it said it would on the menu and I think there’s a difference between calamari, which we ordered off the menu, and squid pieces, which we received. We noticed that Grindelwald is pretty much a blackout spot for phone and internet services and the wifi available is just about non existent. If you’re an overseas traveller and banking on wifi to keep in touch with family back home, you won’t have a constant, good connection. I understand COVID is a tough time for everyone, but I do hope one day to come back and see the facilities have been given a little bit of TLC.
