Not a great experience

First, the good: I have no complaints whatsoever about cleanliness of the property, the room or anything in the room. I also believe it to be bedbug- and vermin-free. No problems there. Unfortunately the bad, ranging from minor to significant: The HDMI cable was switched on the back of the TV, so at first we couldn't figure out what the problem was. Staybridge Suites, unlike many other hotels, does not provide coffee in the rooms. Sad. The curtains do not block light whatsoever, so the room was as bright as day for the entire night due to the bright parking lot lights outside. Bring a sleep mask. The bed wobbled, so whenever my partner or I shifted in our sleep, the bed would shimmy and shake for 30 seconds afterward. The floors are echoey, so whoever was running through the hallways late at night as well as the person with peg legs upstairs who got up and paced around the room for 20 minutes at 3:45 a.m. did not provide a conducive sleep experience. When we checked in the sign on the door clearly said masks were required in the lobby. But upon entering the lobby we were greeted by a gaggle of high school students lounging all over the place sans masks. A little concerning during a pandemic - yes, we're still in one. Just generally not a great experience. Got very little sleep and felt uncomfortable with most of our stay. This property may be better during the week and more appropriate for business travelers. We were there on a weekend night.

Beyond expectations

We had booked the family suite and it was amazing, Lots of room it was like a mini 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment! We are a family of 6 and there were also 3 tvs !

need mirrors

The staff was great. The breakfast was minimal and coffee was not good. The room really could use another mirror or two. We had 4 girls getting ready to attend a wedding and lack of mirrors was a big issue

No frills

The hotel was nice, but room needed updating. Sofa bed was scratched up. Bathroom door was scratched. The first night, checking in was nice, but the next morning, the staff didn’t talk or say anything.
