Fantastic stay at a beautiful hotel in the countryside... unbelievable service and staff...especially Marta. Thank you all...

Stayed here before and it was wonderful. Very dissatisfied this time. Got room wrong. Only one bed and I had requested two. When we were moved to another room it was extremely noisy dark and on the ground floor. There was a wedding on and I think we were near the kitchen. I booked this trip well in advance and prepaid and should have got a nicer room since it was booked and paid for well in advance of our arrival date. M

The hotel itself was beautiful but I wasn’t blown away with the service of the staff at the hotel. It was our first time there and we weren’t told where anything was so we were left to wander and look ourselves. I asked for a cocktail in the residents bar and I was told they didn’t have one of the ingredients for it so I said I was happy to have it without that ingredient but I was told they weren’t happy to do that! I went upstairs to the bar and grill and asked for a cocktail that wasn’t on the menu but they had the ingredients but I was told no. The room was gorgeous and very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. We never did get to see the snooker room, games room, cinema or old stair case as we were not shown where they were. The day we were leaving I saw some workers carrying furniture into the building and I saw the stair case but I was not sure if you needed permission to go in or not so I didn’t enter. I was very disappointed to be honest! We went to the Jimmy Carr show while we were there and it was very funny but there was no atmosphere in the bar after it and I was told in the bar and grill that they don’t sell cocktails even though I had some there the night before. Overall the hotel itself is gorgeous but I wouldn’t be looking to recommend it to anyone or to stay again as I didn’t find the service great at all.

EVERYTHING was amazing here! We will come back to Ireland just to spend a weekend here again
