I expected this hotel in Guyana to uphold a standard. The landscape and property is falling apart. I was not impressed with this hotel. Restroom is ancient and old fashioned and disgusting/gross to sit on. Sinks dirty black residueb in and out, running brown water. Bathroom bad condition, need polishing, shower water is not hot, this is an inconvenience. Veranda dirty looking does not get cleaning. Mirrors not cleaned. You can see hand prints on the door inside. For breakfast: need more of a breakfast menu and not lunch dishes being served at 8am in the morning. Also need oatmeal, porridge etc, a wider variety caribbean fruits. Teens who was not staying at this hotel walking around yanking on doors in the hallways. I felt unsafe seeing this right before my eyes. And I saw no security corriding the hallways. I hope they improve this hotel.

This was my first time in Guyana and the hotel was safe the staff was friendly and the rooms were cleaned very well everyday. Breakfast was included and the food was really nice. I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Thank You!

Avoid at all cost!

The first night at the Ramada about 1 AM I heard something crashing down. It was 40 foot of ceiling crashing down.

Decent Stay

Stay wasnt bad at all... hotel a bit outdated, breakfast wasnt the best either.... staff were helpful

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Check in Reservation clerk at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I arrived before check in and my room was actually ready. Room was very comfortable house keeping were in and out without being detected or unless I was in the room at the time, quick and efficient. I still do not like the shower int he rooms at Princess. I suggest enclosing the shower stall and the rest of the bathroom into one dedicated bathroom suite by just adding a wall and a door or doorway to that area. From the security personnel on the compound to the ground staff were all very courteous. The food is excellent. The Japanese restaurant was very good our chef was "Jarred" Young guy, not Japanese but did a great job. The pool side restaurant waiter James was very polite and on point. Taxi service on site are always available and friendly. I think access to the Casino and entertainment part of the hotel should be for guest access and not the general public as there is adequate access through the second entrance. (for security reasons). All in All nice stay ( not my first time ) but I will be there again . Thank you

Didn’t like the shower in the middle of the room, the pillows under the pillowcases look absolutely disgusting and unsanitary, stains all over the chair. Staff was friendly housekeeping was good just need new items. The gym was good. I never felt good about casino if you can do without don’t go to the casino. Just over price for old moldy furniture
