What happened to breakfast included?

COVID appears to be the ongoing excuse for a lack of service or amenities. There was no coffee at 8:30 on a Saturday morning. No food put out. Had to ask for the brown bag breakfast. Was at a different Hampton the night before. They had a variety of prepackaged items, sweet and savory, you could take. They had two large urns of coffee and hot water. This location was just lazy.

Construction

The lobby was under construction. I thought we should have received a bigger price break.

Not what we expect from Hampton

We didn’t know they were remodeling, which eliminated the use of the lobby. No water Or snacks offered to Hilton Honors. The back parking lot turned into a full out party with extremely loud music, starting at 10 PM and lasting several hours. The usual Hilton seal across the door jamb (to verify cleanliness) wasn’t used at this hotel.

Due to covid19 the breakfast was grab and go - I always have milk with my breakfast so had to go buy it elsewhere which was disappointing. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was great.

Extremely unfriendly and rude! I don’t generally leave bad reviews, but this needs to be addressed. No issues with the facility. Pretty much as expected for a Hampton Inn. The staff.. bad enough to put a bad taste in anyone’s mouth. I won’t be staying there again. Came in with my daughter to visit family. The pool was closed early on a Saturday night for no reason. One particular staff member was extremely hateful and rude at breakfast, not only to me, but to other guests as well. She gave me a dirty look for getting at smoothie at 10am as the breakfast time was ending (10am). I said good morning and excuse me as I walked by.. she just flared at me and didn’t speak, slamming the door closed behind me. Five minutes later a young boy walked over with another staff member who couldn’t understand English and asked for some salt, as none was put out anywhere. She showed how agitated she was that she had to get up to address this as she handed him the salt. He thanked her and she didn’t say a word to him.. then, slammed the doors together even louder behind him. Doors that a different staff member had opened. As we sat and ate I also heard other guests complaining about her rudeness toward them. I expect more from this type of property. I won’t be back.
