We checked in, went to the room to change as the kids were so excited to go in the pool, went down to the pool and turned right around. It was DISGUSTING. Thick seaweed like floaters at the bottom, brown sides, tons of hair clumps floating, a dental flosser, tons of chipped paint everywhere and a dirty wet sock to top it off. The room that the pool was in was probably 95 degrees and felt like a ces pool. VILE. I told my kids- “absolutely not” as they looked on with disappointment and disgust. They went upstairs to pack and I went to the desk to let them know we would not be staying there. I would like to know about how to get a refund. The front desk supervisor, said I would have to go through the 3rd party that I booked through for a refund. Nice lobby, dirty splatters on the wall in the bathroom of our room, odd smell in the room, and OH THAT POOL!

The assistant GM was very rude and condescending at checking when I asked to confirm the square footage of the room. He said,”Since you booked through Expedia, you get whatever room we want to give you.” I was just verifying that it was the type of room that I paid for. Then once I told him that I was not questioning him but confirming the type of room, he repeated what he previously said and then very snidely told me to .”have good stay in the room you reserved. Then there was a confusion with the group of rooms that others in my party were staying and the same treatment was given. I then had hairs and dirt all over the duvet of the bed I was in.

The Cons Outweigh The Pros

Shower could’ve been cleaned more thoroughly, found hair throughout the bathroom. Wifi was difficult to connect to. I was almost charged twice for my stay when I checked in. Evening front desk staff wasn’t friendly. The bed was uncomfortable, mattress felt like it needed to be replaced. No one was are the front desk for check out, ended up having to leave the key cards so my boyfriend wouldn’t miss his flight and I wouldn’t miss work. On the plus side, once connected the wifi worked pretty well, the floor was warm, and there was a mini fridge in the room.

Lobby was nice. Room was dirty- socks left on floor, large good streak on TV, etc. We we’re put in a handicap room which was just weird and made for an uncomfortable shower. The pool was freezing. Hot tub was nice. There was a blinking fire alarm light right over my bed and it felt like a strobe light. So annoying. Breakfast was not great and would have cost us $30. There was nowhere to fill a water bottle except a dirty water fountain way back behind the front desk.

Nice stay

This quiet hotel is conveniently located near both the highway and the University. Shopping and dining are also located within a ten minute drive. The staff is friendly and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable suited with a coffee maker, microwave, and a small refrigerator. Will definitely stay here again.

I pillows were awful..which resulted in poor sleep for everyone. Also the microwave front keys weren't clean.

Hotel was nice. Large lobby was nice for social gatherings. Pool and hot tub were out of order which was a bummer. Was there for a 3 night stay, Surprised they did not turn down the room.

super clean, modern, well kept, good breakfast

Hotel was very very nice, up to date, clean, bed was super comfy. breakfast was REALLY really nice, Hotel staff were very friendly. What I didnt like was that the hotel was completely sold out, (fine), however, they closed the pool and hot tub because it 'needed a part', which everyone knows is a lie, its because they didnt want everyone in their pool, due to the hotel being sold out. and when we returned to the hotel from our convention at the MVP arena at 10 pm, my room was not serviced. I called down, and they said, they were 'short staffed', Thats not my problem, if I pay FULL price, with no discounts or comps for THEIR issue, I expect FULL service, and my room to be cleaned. overall, we would stay again, but that did annoy me enough to write a review.
