Not bad but not worth the price

Overall it was not bad. However, for a room that cost $385 after tax and fees, I was a bit underwhelmed.

Rise & Shine Fire Alarm

Went for one night, was in Austin for the iHeart radio concert at the Moody Center. Hotel was a short walk away super convenient. Hotel room was very clean and well kept. Only downfalls were light in bathroom was going out so it was dim lighting. And we had a 6:30 wake up call with the fire alarm going off. that was no fun but overall great stay.

Save your money and skip this hole!

Checked in to find out there is no room service although Hotels.com says there is, the bar closes at 10:00 even on Saturday night, the soda vending machines don’t work, water was standing on the bathroom floor, the safe doesn’t work, only good staff were bellman and valet, not happy at all. Will not be back.

The AT&T Conference Center Hotel is excellent. It’s close to everything we want to do at the University. With ample parking which can be an issue in Austin.

Psuedo fancy rip off.

Massively overpriced in my opinion. I would have never made the choice to stay at this place had my hosts not suggested it. You are indeed located right on The University of Texas campus, but it is simply not worth the price I paid. If money is no object to you, then stay here... But I do not really understand why you couldn't find better things to do with your money. I certainly could. Never again.

Perfect location

The location is very handy for events at UT Texas in Austin. They should have microwaves in the room installed rather than make it available only when asked. We were told when I called on my way to the hotel that just ask at check in and they would bring us one to the room. But at check in they were all taken. But I asked the front desk to please check again and one miraculously appeared. If I had not asked her to double check we would have eaten cold food. During the Covid days of take out and especially at 11pm check in when restaurants on site are closed, they should make microwaves available in all guests rooms.

Safe was broken, there were no complimentary water bottles, no soap etc by the sink. Very disappointing for $400 night room. The valet man was delightful.
