Definitely a 5-stars hotel & a 5-stars experience

I had a 5 nights stay at the Evergreen Hotel and was pleasantly surprised and very impressed by the high quality room (which was in great condition, very clean, and very comfortable) and most especially with the high quality staff who work in this hotel (all of whom are very professional, courteous, friendly, helpful, and most of them could speak fluent English, which is a huge plus). If/when I visit Taichung again, I would choose to stay in this hotel again, and if you're having a hard time choosing what hotel to stay in while visiting Taichung, I would highly recommend that you pick this hotel and make your booking now. Definitely a 5-stars hotel and a 5-stars experience.

Top notch service and very well maintained hotel!!

We were being taken very good care of as soon as we arrived at the hotel. Our suitcases were speedily sent to our room, check-in staff is professional and handled with charm. The hotel is very well maintained, clean, and comfortable. The facility in B1 is also a plus. I will definitely come back again!!!!

It was pretty disappointed the hotel did not make good arrangements to keep enough on-site parking for the hotel guests. The breakfast did have good amount of selections, but they did not all taste well.

Taichung Old Grand hotel

Old, Charming hotel in Taichung. Good breakfast and excellent service. Pool was not available, nor 100% of the child-friendly facilities.

Big rooms in a great location

located in the center of Taichung, its the perfect starting point for any plans you have in the city. Hotel is showing signs of age but it doesnt lack any ammenities which are necessary for a good night sleep

It gives you all you need

An old western classical feel hotel and everything is well taken care of to make you feel great staying here. Our little girl loves the kids room and the pool a lot. A perfect combo to chill with your kids. Walking distance with easy access to lots of good restaurants. A very pleasant stats experience!
