It was a lovely B and B with lovely owners. Very welcoming and helpful. Loved the accommodation and the fact it was so central to everything in Edinburgh. Only downside for my friend and I would be the amount of stairs to get up to the accommodation. We are both in our 70s and climbing the stairs with luggage was difficult. Had I known about the stair situation I probably wouldn’t have booked it but in saying all that if your fit and well it was 5 star.

A lovely little hotel in a great location. Very friendly welcome from the host David who made us feel comfortable right away. Lovely room with a really cosy bed. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We loved everything about our stay. It felt like home!

We had a lovely stay. The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming. The location is ideal as it is very central not only with it being close to Princes Street but Frederick Street has some lovely bars and cafes also. We thought that noise might be a problem as it was the Fringe but it was a lot quieter than we were expecting. We definitely hope to come back again.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Room was comfortable and clean but it is located 2 doors down from a bar that is open until 5 am, so we had to keep the windows closed as we were getting woken up every morning at 5 am by very loud people singing and yelling leaving the bar. TV in our room was broken. Wierd lines going through the entire screen. Got the proprietor the first night. He slammed it against the wall and it started to work, but as soon as the tv was turned off and back on the lines were back. Also should be classified as a boutique hotel as breakfast is not included unless you pay an extra 10 pounds each person each day. I personally wouldn't stay again, but due to the festival it was one of the only options we had.
