Candlewood Suites offers a lot of other items that some of the other area hotels do not. Suite with kitchen and full size fridge. It's convenient to I-95, 30minutes to Hilton Head, 20-30minutes to Savannah. The hotel is clean and in good repair. They offer a small fitness room and laundry onsite included that is also clean. We had a Queen Bed Suite and it suited our needs. The only item I saw was the carpet could have been vaccummed better especially under the bed. All the staff are friendly.

The room was very clean. The only problem the hot water for the shower was not very warm.

Pet Friendly, Free Paper, Comfortable Bed, Covid Compliant but most of all, awesome employees!

It served the purpose we needed was to just have a place to stay. The room was nice & had ice maker, dishwasher, microwave etc. The problem we had was there were several construction workers that stayed there which I know they need a place to stay but it just made it hard when I wanted to take our dog out & due to COVID just about all the other customers didn't wear masks.

Original room had a bad smell. We were reassigned another and saw at least 4 bugs in the room. Bed was soft and squeaky. Ice maker in refrigerator was noisy. Internet speed was too slow and inadequate.

This hotel is just not worth the price when you can stay in complete luxury at the Hampton Inn which is right next-door and only $20 more.

The pros are this property has the potential to be a nice place..great location, quiet, safe and nearby things to do. The staff was really nice and personable. The interior halls were ok, but could tell the carpeting needed a deep cleaning. This property appears to be for extended stays and does have a lot of nice amenities to offer such as laundry room with free washer and dryers, gym, and outdoor pool. Minimal revamps for cosmetic features to this property could make this an outstanding property. The reason for rating was due to the first room assigned had a maintenance tag on door and room had not been cleaned. Second room assigned was semi-clean and I had to request cleaning materials to touch up items, and staff apologized and provided to me. Our tv only had 1 channel which was cartoons... the staff tried hard to help but could not fix, and all other rooms were sold out for labor day weekend, and since TV's were bolted to dressers they could not change the tv out for us. The only other downfall would be there is not any good water pressure when showering. Overall our stay was still good for time we spent at the hotel. We would likely give this property a second chance.
