Great stay

Really enjoyed the stay. Everything fine and only small issue was the broken shower fitting. Staff were all very good and extremely helpful

This hotel was a great find. Its literally 100 meters from the main station and a 5 to 10 minute walk to the city bowl and the lake. The room is small but beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The best part of the hotel is the friendly service - the staff are absolutely amazing and helpful - special mention to Pedro. The only negative about this hotel is the disappointing breakfast (and I am not a fussy eater). My recommendation - skip breakfast at the hotel and find something better and cheaper in a street restaurant.

Check in

The biggest problem was checking in; until we were sorted byGabriel (manager) who came to our assistance. The problem was the self check in machine outside the hotel did not accept the Hotels.com registration number. In addition for a family in front of us in the queue it took forever for them to register. They each had to enter an amazing amount of data, and scan passports etc. When we eventually go our turn at the machine and the numbers didnt work I called a number I found on the machine. The operator was helpful; but was underpressure on her own. She seemed to be dealing with calls from B&B Hotels in several cities as she asked me what city I was in (Como). As we were queuing again to enter the number given, Gabriel arrived at reception. Because one of our party had managed to get into the lobby he told Gabriel of our situation and he was able to check us in in a matter of minutes! Otherwise we were looking at spending the night without a bed. Note: we had arrived at 2330 due to flight delay.

Decent enough place. Room had a window, but no view to speak of. Cold beer available in bottles, at three euros a pop. All night Carrefour supermarket five to ten minutes down the road. I'd stay here again.
