I stayed for multiple days at The Hotel Montana. It was the perfect bass for day hikes around Cortina d’Ampezzo and the Dolomites. The property is perfectly situated in the center of town - right in front of the bell tower walking distance to restaurants, bars, cafes and shopping. Hotel Montana has a total of 30 rooms which is perfect when you are looking for a more personable stay. The staff and management is warm and welcoming. There are 2 puppies on site (at times) which i thought was cool. Breakfast is a nice spread. Rooms are well appointed and clean. Love the owner’s personal art collection of 30 years. The walls of Hotel Montana are filled with original art from 25 years of collection. It is the best hotel in town. I highly recommend this property

Located right in the center of Cortina with parking for guests.

The staff was so nice, the room, clean and quaint.

Simple hotel. A little stinky but a warm staff and good location. Basic breakfast with breads, granola, coffee from a machine, yogurt, hard boiled eggs.

Historic hotel right in the middle of the pedestrian area of Cortine d'Ampezzo, this was a very convenient starting place for hiking in the area. I had booked a single room so was not surprised that it was small, but there was lots of room in the closet for luggage and to hang clothes so the space was well used. The bathroom was also small but workable. breakfast was good, nothing special but complete with meats, breads, cheese, etc. no fruit, only juice. The only thing, I wish the entrance/sitting area was more comfortable for just sitting/relaxing. As the room was small I would have like to relax in a comfy chair in the foyer. Ah well. very good value for the money.

The staff at Hotel Montana was wonderful. We didn’t get the name of the woman working the breakfast room, but she was so pleasant and helpful! And our room was kept super clean our entire stay. The location was great, near the bus station and many restaurants and stores. Would definitely stay there again!

Everything was perfect; the staff, the breakfast, and cleanliness. The bedd and pillows were not that comfortable but it did not ruin my days. I would definitely re-book for the close proximity to everything on the square and the positive environment.

Nice hotel - but breakfast room too small with some queuing. Parking is for 6 tiny spaces and my hire car was hit by another hotel guest. Rooms are clean and ours quite large - sheet and blanket and a top duvet - I didn’t expect that. Bathroom clean and modern

The location in centre of town was super-convenient, with supermarket and every kind of café, bar or restaurant moments away, with information office across the road. It is only a 4-5 minute's walk from the main bus station and Faloria Gondola. Staff were obliging with advice and there were eggs for breakfast ahead of a strenuous day. My room had a cheerful décor.
