if you want cheap and basic this is the place to go absolutely no frills at all. but reception staff were pleasant

Good value, friendly staff

A good value, comfortable hotel - no frills but eveything you need and very friendly staff. As it is in a light industrial area (as are many such hotels in France, presumably to keep the capital costs down) restaurants are mostly a short drive away but this is a minor inconvenience.)

Cheap Budget Hotel no frills

Hotel is well located off the Motorway, the rooms are very basic and small with a bunk bed above the double, no air con and in August the rooms were very hot and stuffy window only opened a few inches. Breakfast was saving grace at 5 euros each and 40 cents for kids, but overall only 1 or 2 star, would pay more to stay in better more comfortable hotel.

OMG

We wanted somewhere cheap and convenient to stay for 1 night and didn't have high expectations of the hotel and boy we were not let down on any account! It is cheap, it is convenient, staff were friendly, Wi Fi actually worked but the room was somewhere between a Turkish Prison cell and a Sauna! I have never had a more uncomfortable nights "sleep" due to the heat in my life. The room, for 4 people, was not much larger than an average bathroom with a window which barely opened more than a few inches. The sweat poured from us and we all had to take cool showers in the middle of the night. From sheer exhaustion I managed 1.25 - 1.5 hrs sleep, not ideal after a near 500 mile drive with the same to follow the next day. Therefore don't be tight, like me, spend an extra 20 Euros and get somewhere half decent. On the plus side those extra holiday pounds just melted away!

value for money

One night stay while driving from Cherbourg to Italy. The hotel was adequate for this purpose being utilitarian and good value for money

Bright and airy hotel room

We stayed for two nights. Staff very friendly at this hotel. There is loads to do in the town. Small room as with all these budget hotels but bright and airy.
