Hotel Jardin Bern

Fantastic little gem for exploring Bern. Just 3 stops on tram and free travel pass from hotel. Free parking too. Definitely recommend.

What a nice and family friendly hote!!

We were greated by the owner who had already everything set up for us and were very friendly to explain everything about the hotel and the area. He also gave us a very good suggestion of a restaurant to go. The hotel is very clean and recently renovated. The breakfast was awesome! Nice touch to have a documentary about the area on TV

Free parking, free breakfast, free public transportation cards which allowed us to go around Bern for free. Tram station to go to the city center is a 3 minute walk. Clean good sized room. Helpful staff.

Overall fair but expensive for its price . Good if you are getting to Bern by car with easy access to the city by tram .

This hotel is in a great location and the hosts are really welcoming and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean.

Our comfort room was larger than expected ( we peaked into a standard room and it was larger than we expected as well), clean, and comfortable. Jardin is easy to get to from the train station, and the neighbourhood is quiet. There is a coop and several restaurants near. The breakfast was average, but offered nice touches such as home made jam and granola. This family run hotel’s pride is obvious in the courteous staff, and it is nice to support it in a world where so many hotels are corporately owned. But Jardin deserves your business on its own merits.

Good hotel!

The hotel is located on a very quiet street and a block from the bus line into old town Bern. The staff were friendly and helpful. We asked about directions to drop off our rental car and we were delighted to be given info on the tram/ bus line back to the hotel plus a recommendation of a quick side trip to a cog train to a fantastic view we wouldn’t have known about otherwise. The included breakfast was more than adequate too.
