Good location and nice breakfast. The room itself isn't terrible but the bathroom is pretty small- note if you are larger you might have difficulties sitting on the toilet as the room from the shower to the wall is very limited. The hallways and elevators were a little sketchy and you could hear everything from neighboring rooms. The staff at reception were also very unfriendly. Good value for Karneval but probably wouldn't stay if there were other options in the price range.

This place was down filthy smells like a huge cigarette when you first walk in and the room are deceiving

The hotel exceeded my expectations. I would recommend it a 100% to all of those who want to visit Cologne and need a place to stay. It is super close to the Köln Hbf and you can basically reach everything by foot. The breakfast had an incredible wide range of different kind of foods. Even for Vegans there is something!

A bit odd to have to enter in from a different entrance. Didn’t like that housekeeping turned the heater off as I came back to the room in the evening already feeling cold.

I would definitely stay there again! I recommend this hotel.

Run down, tiny rooms, laminated A4 sheets as door numbers, lift only stops on half levels, back door always open, no lights in hallways, just cables and unheated rooms in January. Constant banging in the walls on second day and until 4am in the night. Was offered 5 euros compensation when I checked out a day early due yo the constant noise.

The television did not have any English channels, room was large enough for night stands but did not have, the staff is very friendly.

Bed and room were reasonably clean. The rest of the hotel not so much but the breakfast buffet was a pleasant surprise

Clean Room, Comfortable bed and spotless linen. Expect a small room. Very good breakfast. Hotel can do with some cleaning of stair area including stair carpets which were very dusty. We had to use the stairs, as the lift was not working. The hotel staff helped us with the luggage.
