This little gem is tucked away in a quiet area of Florida Keys. The staff go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The property is very well kept and cared for.

The bathroom was extremely small and cramped. The bar was not open on Sunday and Monday which was a little inconvenient. The billing got messed up and they charged the wrong card. The front desk was helpful upon check in.

Quaint & Quiet

Friendly staff, clean, quiet. Amazing poolside room. Very comfortable bed, nothing overly fancy, just a standard room at a nice place. The continental breakfast was average. Neighborhood was safe and walkable, day & night.

It was okay. AC did not work well. Very low water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was late. Front desk was not open at 8:30…making it difficult to check out. It did the job…but for the price, I expected more.

Good value

Good for the price. Only issues were the bathroom was not air conditioned and it got very warm in there with the door closed, and the staff were not terribly friendly. All in all, would stay again though due to the good far outweighing the bad.

Disappointing

Disappointed by the staff. Not very friendly, didn’t offer any assistance or advice when asked. Very disappointed that the pool bar was only open on the weekends. Didn’t see that advertised, had to ask. A party of 14 European’s stayed at the same time. Very loud, they took over the area bought in glass beer bottles by the pool. Definitely not the trip I had hoped for.

Overpriced and a cold shower 😢

Pro’s : nice hotel : Key West Style . Very comfortable beds though 2 persons on a double bed is pushing it . Healthy Breakfast. Salt water pool . Contra’s : very overpriced. $400,- for a night PLUS you have to pay $20,- Resort fees for a Hotel that has the same accommodation as Motel 6 . COLD water shower which was really small too . : terrible for such a high priced Hotel . Distance too far from downtown. 30 minutes walk through dark neighborhoods . Unfortunately all hotels are expensive in Key West and they know that . Wonder if they have a price fix agreement among the hotels ..

My girlfriend and I went to Key West on a whim during spring break. There weren’t many hotels with rooms available, but I was lucky enough to get one at the Palms, and let me tell you this place was great. Very comfortable and clean room, super friendly staff and a nice pool/bar area. The price wasn’t horrible given they were probably one of the last places with rooms available during spring break. My girlfriend and I had an absolutely unforgettable time in Key West and The Palms made it that much better. I will definitely be planning my next vacation there and will be staying for more time than we did this time!
