Had a lovely stay at the Hideaway. Highlights were how friendly the staff are, they remember your names and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and want to get to know you. The property is just getting back up and running so there are some minor issues related to that but I am sure they will sort it out soon. Great for families with a pool (that just opened), lots of activities, snorkeling in 29' water in front of the resort that is at most chest deep so good for kids. Issues: They did not answer the phone the 19 times we tried to call to confirm booking leading up to the trip. The water in the rooms is NOT drinkable and some staff say it is and others say it isn't but DO NOT DRINK IT, it made me very sick. The menu did not change the week we were there but that may have to do with the number of people in the resort. The Wifi is only in the restaurant, we were told that is it because you are meant to relax without wifi but the truth is they need to replace the boosters that can be seen all over the resort that have rusted. However, it was a great resort and we would return again.

I had such a lovely stay at the Hideaway resort. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to make my holiday amazing. Although not everything was back up and running like pre Covid, it was still a wonderful stay. Hideaway is also located in an amazing spot where you can go snorkeling, surfing and diving out your front door.

Location was fantastic. Recommend a beach front villa with access to the water at your door step. Resort food was not the best, lots of local diner places around.

Very poor property BUT has potential. Needs new ownership desperately. We had ant invasions, but that wasn't the worst part; they sprayed some cheap version of RAID that killed half and left them there all over our bed and walls etc.. I had to go ask them everyday to clean it off our bed. That was a disaster with a 9 yr old child. Other than that, severely understaffed. You had to always hunt down someone to order food in the 1 restaurant open. Also all cups were dirty all the time. Breakfast buffet was worst I've ever had. Bread, cereal, and fruit. Had to supplement everyday. Overall most of the amenities are not working, they say due to covid but they are just beyond dated. The pool table/tennis table were not usable bc they're broken. Tennis court not functional. Pool is dirty. everything is dirty. Some staff are very nice. NYE show was embarrassing, why bother? Overworked 60 yr old's trying hard but not a show.

Didn't even get there. Air travel blocked and could NOT get a refund for our booked stay. Would never recommend the fifi hideaway resort to anyone

Beautiful staff and location is perfect. Sad to hear it’s being sold to a foreigner as currently locally owned. Please pay the staff more as they do a wonderful job!
