Good hotel

Nice hotel. No aircon in room but evenings are cool so not required. Excellent service from the staff . Breakfast was pretty decent . Wouldn’t mind staying here again . Only 10 minutes drive from the airport .

Harmony is a nice hotel due to nice quiet rooms, a hospitable staff, good food, and a friendliness that makes you feel very comfortable for your stay. I've been there a couple of stays and will return.

This is a great place to stay if you want all the amenities of a 4-5 star hotel, but also want an Ethiopian flavour. The gym/pool/spa are great - and if you want to have a business event they have all the necessary facilities and very helpful staff. The rooms are a bit dates, but the location, other amenities and the amazing Indian restaurant make it work the stay (at a very fair price)!

Horrible experience

Very terrible experience. Totally without service. I asked several times let them give me the daily water. But they still didn’t give me water about 3days. Lots of the devices are broken. The bed/sofa are so dirty. The first I checked in, I felt very uncomfortable, the bed let me allergic and I cannot sleep

There is hardly anything to be liked about this hotel. The shuttle service failed to pick me up, the hotel needs urgent renovation... ...many things fall apart and are outdated, public localities are dirty, and by no ways the rate seems justified. Certainly not a four star!

Great Staff!!!

This is the only hotel I've experienced in Addis so it's difficult to compare to others but here are some of the main things I'd want to know; The service is GREAT....they were so nice and accommodating from the front desk, to restaurants and room service and housekeeping....all so kind, so if you need anything ASK!! When you check in, ask to be in the renovated side and above the 3rd floor. They have functions in the 3rd floor meeting rooms and those weddings get loud and go late!! The spa is great and so is the gym, the pool gets crowded because they allow non hotel guests to swim. The wifi was good and the free breakfast was ok. The location was good for Bole, close to the airport and lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. There's no coin operated laundry in Addis, hotel will do your laundry and do a great, fast job... it's just the most expensive thing at the hotel. The hotel restaurant and room service is really good....they dont show everything they offer on the menu, so ask. Good security in front of the hotel and parking lot but good luck to you if you're planning to rent a car and drive there....it's crazy!!! Don't go expecting a hotel like you'd find in the US...furniture is dated and beds, bathrooms are pretty basic. What they lack in luxury, they make up for in service and heart!!

Lobby, restaurant, and pool on the first level are nice, but when I get upstairs it is not as well kept. Dingy walls in the hallway and in my room. Edges of the wallpaper were slightly coming up in a few places in my room and there was water damage or mold underneath in one corner from what I'm assuming comes from a crack/leak from the shower on the other side where moisture is getting through. Another issue I had was when I showed up for the provided breakfast on the first day (of 9) and the food was quite subpar and flavorless, which kept me from returning any of the following mornings. Also, have to say that the mattress in my room was of poor quality and not very supportive. My stay wasn't necessarily the worst experience... The room was a decent size and the bathroom was updated. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were responsive when I needed help with the safe, when I had to borrow an iron, and when I required a shuttle to the airport. However, I will surely be looking for accommodations elsewhere the next time I'm visiting Addis.
