very nice vacation spot, not so suitable for a business traveler

Beautiful, comfortable room with nice mountain view. Very close to Ski trails (Ski in Ski out almost). Overall experience was great.

5 star hotel and lovely faclities outside of the room however service is awful. Getting a table for dinner or breakfast seems like you're asking an impossible task. Holes in the pillow cases. Not fantastic by any means. Better off in another Shahdag hotel.

I would highly recommend Pik Palace and Shahdag for a short ski break. The hotel was very comfortable and despite a little confusion regarding our request for twin beds and late check-out we were very happy with the hotel. The room was modern with a great bathroom and very comfortable beds. We had a fantastic view of the mountain. There was a large selection in the breakfast buffet with hot and cold options - much needed preparation for the day on the slopes. We booked transport online using a link that the hotel emailed to us. Although the website implies the transport is organised through the hotel it is a separate company. This worked out well for transfers to/from Baku - although the overtaking was a little daunting at times. We arranged lessons through the ski school which is based at another hotel but this is within walking distance. For convenience, we also hired our equipment from the same hotel. We enjoyed the one meal we had in the Italian restaurant in Pik Palace. It was busier than we expected but the staff did their best to accommodate us. The 2nd night we chose to try one of the restaurants at a different hotel (again a short walk away). Overall, Pik Palace seemed to be the best of the hotels available in Shahdag and comes highly recommended.

The place is very nice , rooms are big , but the service was very poor & they don’t respond to our requests

Its one of 3 resorts on top in shadag other 2 being park chalet ans shahdag resort and spa.. its relitively new 5 star hotel in middle of nice snowy slopes.. they hav good skiing facilities.. nice italian and local cuisine and other options in other hotels.. kids club to b shared with park chalet guests which has nice facilities for younger guests... overall nice experience with ckean and comfortable stay
