Very friendly staff - I always felt welcomed. Great Internet - sometimes a challenge to find in Germany hotels. Conveniently located at he edge of the beautiful Altstadt. Awesome breakfast!

Everything about our stay was excellent, we were in a few minutes walk of the old town. The Christmas market was wonderful and lots of shopping, restaurants, beautiful scenery, etc.

Quick walk to town. Good breakfast. Cold beer. Near a nice running trail.

The hotel was nice. Luckily, I brought a fan since it was so hot. It made the room very pleasant. The staff is super nice. Check in was a breeze. I had a light dinner in the lobby Bat. It was nice and the service was excellent. The breakfast buffet is extremely nice and has something for everyone. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent service - very friendly staff. Excellent hot and cold breakfast items (European / American cuisine). The bar offers pizza & pide for food. The hotel is next door to the conference center and 1 block from the city wall (entrance to the old town). Two cautions: (1) Bring a fan if the weather is hot - the hotel has some, too. (2) Avoid rooms 401, 402, 301, 302, 201, 202, and 101, 102: these rooms are at the end of the hall, over the main entrance - where the smokers hang out, cigarette smoke wafts up into these rooms. I am already planning a weekend back to Amberg. It is a lovely city and the hotel is a delight!

The accommodations and staff are great but no air conditioning is a big issue in the summer above the first floor. No fans available either. Free parking is limited during the day, the hotel only has a handful of spots but there is large municipal parking lot that charge 1€ for 5 hours right in front of the hotel and free between 1800 and 0800 the next day.
