Very disappointing on the standard of room when it comes to the small things. The staff did their best but over a two night stay we initially could not access the first room we were given due to faulty door lock, I had to walk back to reception 3 x. We were given another room but then were amazed with lack of resources e.g. had a microwave but nothing to use in it, we were told only on arrival no breakfast available. No cleaning cloth for sink or tea towel, could not get stove to work. Light above bed did not work. We were offered to move to another room and only did this because it had a bath but found out after moving that they did not have a plug that fitted the bath. There is a lack of attention to detail with this Hotel. This room did have a microwave but no cooker but no plates only cups where other one had plates but this room did have tea towel and cleaning cloth!!!

It was a great family room, although the shower with no screen caused alot of mess. A bath would have been better. Great location for Sovereign Hill.

Perfect room for a large family. Hot Breakfast was utterly delicious. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation minute from Sovereign Hill

Great Location and a comfortable room at a good price.

We had a family room and kids had bunk beds which they loved. There was a micriwave, fridge and small stove as well as cups plates etc. We had everything we needed and hotel was very peaceful when we were there.

I liked the facilities. The Colonial Family room was perfect for my young family. We have a 14 month old so we brought her portable cot, and the 6 year old slept on the bottom bunk. There was tonnes of room for them to play on the floor when needed. I did read reviews about the noise. I could understand when the schools are booked in there would be a lot of noise, but during school holidays when it was just guests there was a few doors shutting late at night but that was it. You definitely get your monies worth staying here.

the people above our room where very noisy. Jumping, running. The thumping noise was unpleasant, and disruptive until 2100hrs. The breakfast was good
