Room was cozy and centrally located but expensive for what was offered. Also could not control the air conditioning in the room. Note in room said to call front desk to adjust, attempted to do that and was laughed at by the front desk employee and had to sleep with the windows open because the room was so warm. Most likely won’t stay again.

Can not control room temperature yourself

Everyone has access to the balcony, don't pay extra for it! You don't have access to the thermostat to control the temperature in the room, you have to call down to the front desk to tell them you want it lower. No matter what they say, it doesn't get cool enough in the room. We had an upstairs room and supposedly they had it turned down as low as it would go. which was supposedly 67*, if we ever had our thermostat turned down that low in my house, we would be freezing. We keep our thermostat at home around 73, but we also live in Texas. We never got even mildly cool except right after we got out of the shower and hadn't dried off yet. We'll never stay there again. Yes, the room seemed clean and there was a microwave, which we didnt use, and a refrigerator.

Best find! This is our go-to motel now in Chicago!

This is an awesome find for downtown! Just a few blocks from Michigan Avenue, State Street, shopping, and great restaurants! The best part is the free parking! It is sooooo convenient to park here. The rooms are extremely clean and well-kept! This will be our go-to motel for Chicago stays!

Great location, comfortable and clean.

Everything about our stay was great, exccept the parking lot. Too many spaces are crammed into a small area, and the width between cars barely allows one to exit the vehicle. If all vehicle were compact size it may work. I struggled to extract myself and luggage without damaging any vehicles. I watched many guests struggle to do the same, it was almost funny except for the damage to my car caused by someone not so careful parking or accessing luggage/vehicle. Don’t let this deter you from booking a stay, overall it was a great location, comfortable and clean.

Relic of the past

Room was clean and well outfitted. City view was mostly of the parking lot and motel office. Bed was very saggy on one side. Very sad that there is no longer a greasy spoon restaurant on premises. Still a great deal with an excellent location and free parking.

Love that this downtown Chicago location included free parking. The city was loud one night but fairly quiet the next two. Staff was wonderful all around, and beds were very comfortable.
