Great service! Very friendly staff. Great location...

Ovwrall the hotel is good. The most negative side is the car park. The hotel claim to have a free parking but it is very small, so there is never spaces to park in the hotel or in front of the hotel. They have about 6/8 car park spaces that you can book in advance, paying 8 euros a day, they were fully booked 5days in advance. There is also a lot of cars everywhere, so it is very difficult to park the car anywhere. Casino car parks (next to hotel) full most of the time too. Paying 1.70 €/h. Rooms were ok and clean. Room is a little too small when added extra bed in the room. The spa was good. It had a inndoor swimming pool. This was great for our 4yold daughter, as the water of the ocean was very cold and sometimes there were too big weaves for her to swim. So she really enjoyed. Then they had one sauna and one steamed room. These facilities were quite new and clean. They also had a massage/treatment service. Solarium was good, 2nd floor in front of Espinho beach. Hotel location was very good,beach front and plenty restaurants around. It is located very close (2 min walk) to town center and shops. Staff were very nice.

The hotel is quite dated,along with the town of Espinho. The room was fairly worn in places. The balcony was useless as they don't provide chairs or tables. The breakfast was average. The towel system for using the pool and loungers is a bit punitive and unusual. The hotel is ok but definitely not a four star hotel. It was pricey for Portugal.

Great location, amazing breakfast with great variety. The rooms were a little outdated.

Staff were excellent, especially the bar and restaurant. Great service and really good food and value in the restaurant (€20 for 3 courses including wine and coffee), it is a pity that the restaurant is only open in the main season. Breakfast provided a great choice. Comfortable rooms with good air con and free wifi. Superb location on the beach. Can't wait to return.

Wonderful staff, great gym & sun terrace. The hotel overlooks a nice beach with good restaurants .

We stayed here for the Nations League Finals, very close to train station for quick connection to Porto (5 euros return). Hotel in excellent position for large local beach and plenty of restaurants and bars, Hotel has Gym, indoor pool and terrace for sunbathing, all very clean and well presented, staff were friendly and helpful, room was comfortable with sewing view, breakfast was satisfactory with limited range of cooked food, restaurant was not open in the evenings as June is considered out of season, we were happy with our stay and would return again as a base to visiting Porto.
