This is the second time we've stayed at the Carlton and we very much enjoyed our stay each time. The rooms were great. They have a small fridge and a microwave in the rooms, which helped a great deal since we were unable to eat out during our stay. The customer service was just great. They were very helpful and pleasant. We had our 2 small Yorkies with us for our stay, and there was a small pet fee. Such a nice hotel. I sure recommend it if you are going to Chicago for a short stay. It's not far from many of the sites, and we weren't worried about our car or our room.

The maintenance crew Bavaria commentated in helping you if you needed anything the staff very friendly and they were willing to help you give you a lot of information on where to go and visit

Not as "pet friendly" as I would have hoped. The employees were all very pleasant and helpful. The room was decent for the price and was clean. A small breakfast was provided, which was appreciated due to COVID-19 many places are not doing any breakfast. My only complaint is the hotel is stated as "pet friendly". The hotel itself is. You are allowed to have a dog in a room for a very reasonable price and the dogs were welcomed by the staff. However, there is no green space on the property and this was not disclosed when inquiring. You have to cross a very busy 4 lane road in order to get to grass or go around the block. In the daytime, I do not mind that at all. However, when your dog needs to pee at night or early in the morning when its dark it is a decent walk to grassy area. The area seemed safe, but I would not feel comfortable walking that by myself if my husband was not with me. So just be forewarned if you have a dog with you, you will have to walk off property to let them do their business. Otherwise our stay was fine.

The room was clean. Free parking. Front desk open 24 hours. Found a bed bug crawling in the bed. I was switched to another room but I still felt uneasy and didn't sleep good because I was constantly checking for another one. If that didn't happen I would of been ok with my 2 night stay.

I liked this facility because it was in the city. It was very clean and pet friendly. The clerks were very receptive to my situation and accomodated me immediately. The facility was very clean. It is in the midst of some great shopping and transportation. I am so grateful that I found the Carlton Inn.

well it was ok, only thing was that they did not service your room even do we left the tag for service, but overall it was ok

The hotel was very clean and well kept. The staff was excellent.

Old, in need of renovation, very out dated, shuttle driver making rude comments in lobby, free breakfast was yogurt and juice kept cold floating in water
