They let us book an hour of pool time which we took advantage - check in went well, and breakfast was a little different, as you had to tell them what you wanted to eat as a precaution.

We had a hard time paying 120$ a night for this property. Staff left something to be desired, beds were VERY bouncy and sank in the middle, and many little details were missed that add up to a lot. We were not told ahead of time that we had to reserve both the pool and housekeeping. We requested housekeeping twice and no one ever showed. All in all, not impressed.

It was very nice, glad they had breakfast, we also enjoyed that they let us schedule a time to swim

We stayed for only one night but it was comfortable. The hotel is making all efforts to keep people safe by adhering to state regulations with the COVID-19. Staff was helpful and very polite.

The only thing that we didn’t like is web site said pool was open till 11 and I know we have COVID-19 to worry about . Pool was by reservation only and for an hour, which would been perfect if pool would been open longer. But everything else was wonderful!

Great stay, spacious room, clean, great customer service.

Our stay was pleasant, especially under these circumstances. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The only issue was the lack of breakfast. we understood regular hot breakfast was of course curtailed during the virus. However we don't understand why small bottles of juice, prepackaged muffins or danish could not be offered to go.

I value excellent customer service over cheap prices. I am very glad we chose Holiday Inn Express. The rooms were clean. Each bed had 2 thin pillows and 2 thick ones vs 4 thin ones that don’t provide support when you’re trying to watch TV in bed. I appreciated the extra toiletries (makeup remover wipes and shower caps). Always nice to have a microwave and fridge in the room too. They were clean as well. When we asked for a change of bedspread and an extra washcloth, the housekeeper was accommodating and friendly. A/C worked well. The location is w/in walking distance to the Canyon Rim trailhead, a very pleasant walking trail. It’s also w/in walking distance of the local co-op. Check in and out was fast and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful. I didn’t eat all of the choices but what I remember is that on day 1, they had turkey sausage patties, pork links, veggie omelette (am lactose intolerant so this was FANTASTIC), cheese omelette, oatmeal w/several choices of topping, BEST fresh cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had, freshly made pancakes, pears, apples, bananas, juice, regular milk, soy milk, Silk vanilla almond milk (also GREAT), Chobani yogurt (yeah, the expensive kind), dry cereal, coffee, and various teas. I ate the turkey sausage, veggie omelette, cinnamon roll and oatmeal and LOVED it all. Omelette was fluffy. Day 2, they also had BACON. Pool area could use some decor but my kids still liked it. I used the laundry room (1 washer, 1 dryer) which was clean and all mine.

It's right on the edge of town which is nice when you're driving in. Also it's not like Los Alamos is a huge place, so it's convenient to get anywhere you want to go from there.
