Disappointing

Pleasant in appearance but rooms are not kept in best condition. We stayed in 2 different rooms The first had a leaking tap which flooded the bathroom, Tap was already leaking prior to our arrival, also room had a child’s cot in it taking up a lot of space even though we clearly had no children with us The second room we moved to had a broken toilet seat. All of these a basic issues that should be checked. The hotel wishes to class itself as 5 star, but does not hold itself to a self high standard and as result the guest suffers.

I really enjoyed my stay at Tour Khalef. The junior suite was very spacious and luxurious. The staff are very professional and friendly. The adults pool is amazing and the kids pool has water slides. So, Both Parents and kids could enjoy their time on the pool. However the slides and the pool are not well graded. The hotel is very big and the beach is amazing however the beach is small compared to the hotel capacity. As a result it’s almost impossible to find a spot on the beach if you don’t wake up very early. Besides, even though the hotel was full, people from outside the hotel were allowed a daily access to the pool and the beach, as a result the pool was crowded and noisy The food was good especially the breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely come back in the future.

Family-friendly hotel

We had a nice stay overall. The staff, especially at the restaurant and the pool, made us feel welcomed.

Not worthy of its 5-star rating

Even though it was not yet high season, the hotel environment was chaotic. Our room was not ready when it was supposed to be. There was shouting at the reception desk. We had to wait two hours for our room. Our bags were left out in plain site in the reception area even though we asked that they be placed in the baggage room. The buffets were not worthy of a five-star rating. Finally, we had not hot water.

Weekend Break From Tunis

The stay was enjoyable and relaxing and good option to unwind from busy life in Tunis. An upgrade to an apartment with sea view was very much appreciated. Security for this area was appreciated and reassuring. Buffet style food standard was very average (nothing special) and not consistent with international 5 stars that I am used to. Staff were helpful.

It was not that good experience, the welcoming was dull, the staff wasn’t that friendly and caring, other than that the room was clean and comfy, the bed was cozy. The food was OK but distance between food counters was annoyingly wide and the staff was dull again. It’s an overrated and overpriced hotel.

Nice Hotel Close on the beach/ Terrible Service

Myself and my wife spent tow night at tour Khalef. I was an OK stay . It is a beautiful hotel but, the staff service is poor. The hotel accommodates mass tourists from Russia, most of the staff speak Russian, the signs in the hotels are written in Russian, even the music played at the pool or at the beach is Russian. The most annoying experience we had at this hotel is a knock on your room door early in the morning (8:00 am), by the room service lady for a control report!!! When I asked about the purpose of this report, she informed me that she is making sure there is no more than 2 people at the room!!! This is very ridiculous and unacceptable.

Would not reserve a room at this place.

Advertised a 1230 check in so we took a 2-hour cab from Tunis to get there for that...after waiting at the front desk from 1200-1230 was told check in was at 1400 and to wait. Finally 1400 came around and sat there while papers were shuffled for 2 hours until our room was supposed ready. Got our key, went to our room and maid service was still working so we left. Total chaos at the front desk as it seemed there was no real system to checking people in or out.
