I have stay at Tarntawan many times over the years, and seen it's evolution. I have to down grade it, needs a good cleaning. New owners, and all the old staff have left. Can get much better facilities for the same or less cost in the same area.

I have stayed at this hotel for years. After it was sold they had a difficult time with staff and service cut backs. They now have new manager and they seem to be returning to a guest orientated service attitude. Still not the hotel it was under the previous owners but on the mend. Location is perfect with many shopping, dining, and night life options just steps away. Sky Train Station and subway in walking distance.

Room carpet vas very dirty and stained, time for refurbishment but good service and friendly and attentive staff

Have stayed here before. We like the location. When we arrived late in the evening after long flights did not feel welcomed by the reception. The desk agent on duty was very abrupt. In the past we always felt welcomed by the staff who remember us from prior years. In general our experience after our initial contact was very good. Although the room is looking dated and could use some general maintenance we were quite comfortable.

The hotel is ok. A bit old, but ok. I think this is a place where gay travelers go. Being straight it did not bother me when I understood this. But found the male staff a bit creepy. Food there is good and it is well located. But a bit overpriced.
